OBX Getaway is a cozy and well-maintained soundside retreat located in Avalon Beach, the heart of Kill Devil Hills. The open-concept layout and vaulted ceilings make the great room feel spacious and airy. LVP flooring flows throughout the main level, including all three bedrooms. Outside, relax on the charming front porch with your morning cup of coffee or a cold beverage. Downstairs, the bonus room with comfortable seating, TV and board games can serve as an additional hangout space. It connects to the garage where you'll find a foosball table for hours of indoor entertainment, along with a second full-size fridge for storing extra groceries or the catch of the day. The ground level is equipped with a gas grill and outdoor dining set for BBQ's. In the evening, gather the family around the backyard fire pit and cook smore's while planning the next day's adventures.

Guests at OBX Getaway can walk or bike to the beach using the Fifth Street crosswalk and public access, less than a mile from the house. While you're there, visit the Avalon Fishing Pier where you can grab lunch at the Snack Shack or drinks at the Stonefish Beach Bar. On the west side of the neighborhood, take a short walk to the community sound access for launching kayaks and SUP's.

Centrally located at Milepost 6.5 in Kill Devil Hills, OBX Getaway is conveniently close to everything you'll need during your stay. Department stores, grocery stores, spas, a movie theater and coffee shop are within a mile radius. Nearby dining options include Awful Arthur's Oyster Bar, Chili Peppers and the Jolly Roger.

Can’t stay an entire week? OBX Getaway is available for short stays and offers flexible arrival/departure options for those who like to plan ahead. In-season partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance, and guests can choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

No pets allowed - pet free. No smoking/vaping. Garage is not for vehicles.

We had a great last of the season getaway. The house was perfect for the four of us. Our issue was that the grass wasn’t cut when we got there so we couldn’t use the backyard. But I reached out to Village Realty, they contacted the owner and the grass was cut Monday morning. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely book this house again.

Three generations of us, overall space , bathrooms and kitchen ammenities were A+. Lots to do, Excellent response time to messages through air bnb. Even though there open during posted business hours I couldn't get them on the phone. overall experience was great. Would go back!!!

We had a great time here. It was very close to souvenir shopping, nice restaurants and the Bodie Island Lighthouse. I highly recommend staying at The Village homes.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was perfect for our family. Close to the bay, the beach, lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. We enjoyed lunch at High Cotton BBQ, seeing the horses in Corolla, the lighthouses, and all the history in OBX.

Wonderful stay, close to the beach and really great local restaurant. The home had lots of beach gear that we were able to use that made our beach days much more enjoyable! 10/10 would stay again

We loved staying here! Normally we stay oceanfront but wanted something a little quieter. Perfect central location.. right by target, Publix, Wawa.. and close to most of our fave restaurants and bars!
The extra room downstairs was great for the kids to be able to watch their own stuff and play video games! Honestly loved this house so much!

Village Realty , Rebekah in Corolla office went above and beyond to help us with our vacation. All was very much enjoyed the beaches, restaurants, the wild mustangs, the history of the Outer Banks, the weather was beautiful. The house was very clean and had everything needed. Thank you for our vacation. We would absolutely use Village Realty for future trips.
