The walkability to Harris Teeter, Duck Donuts, restaurants, ice cream, basketball, pickleball, tennis, volleyball and more make this house super convenient.

Tipsea Terrapin sits at the tenth tee box of the Rees Jones designed golf course. Sized “just right” this property offers four bedrooms and four full baths and one-half bath. Each bedroom has its own en suite. The reverse floor plan provides beautiful ocean and golf course views.

Features and amenities include a private pool, hot tub and additional family room next to the 4th bedroom with second refrigerator, wet bar and a Ms. Pac-Man arcade game. The kitchen is open to the dining area and family room which has a bar area with an additional beverage fridge. There's also an outside shower, garage, grill, ship's watch, and WiFi.

No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. All trolleys run from the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. Ask about our Military Discount.

The house itself was beautiful. Very clean and well appointed. Location was excellent... a short convenient walk to beach, clubhouse, and an awesome Harris Teeter. Short drive to restaurants, shops, and beach parking. Corolla Park and Lighthouse were close and both worth a visit. The playground at the park was perfect. Currituck Club facilities were excellent, especially the pool and weight room. Golf course view was beautiful although we didn't play this week. Sunsets were amazing off the back upper deck. The Pool was clean, but had many rough areas (especially on the steps) and is in need of resurfacing. Corolla and Duck were both amazing towns. We had a great stay! We even took our Jeep on the north beach drive and got several great pictures of the wild horses on the beach! A truly great week with the family!

Very clean and family-friendly! Great amenities at nearby club and still close to the ocean. Front door lock didn’t work a couple of times. Pool was a little dirty.

The house is in a great location and overall very good. The family really enjoyed the pool and arcade games. It needs maintenance in some places like loose fixtures and sliding doors, but the kitchen was recently renovated. The grill needed propane and the rental company quickly took care of that. I think everyone would be happy to stay here again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful and there is plenty of space for many people. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were spacious.
I’d recommend having additional toilet papers (at least 1 per bathroom). The pool was a nice bonus, but it wasn’t very up to date or clean in light of the storms that came through. I wished someone could have come by to clean them after the storm.
The neighborhood is very quiet and convenient, all the shops are about a 5-minute drive away. You do have to drive to get to the beach if you’re bringing things, I wish that was more clear in the deception since it said it was a 10-minute walk away, but with little ones, it’s not safe to do

Excellent house in excellent location! The kitchen was very organized and well stocked. The views of ocean and sound are great with breath taking sunsets over the sound. Will definitely stay here again. We have stayed in many units over the past 25 years of vacationing in Corolla and this is definitely the nicest! In addition, Village Realty is very responsive if you have any needs while there.

The home is well-designed, with a functional floor-plan, and nicely furnished and decorated. The location is convenient. Nice pool, hot tub, and grill. We contacted Village Realty a couple of times, and they were very responsive. The only small negative that I recall is the small driveway - parking for 2-3 cars max.

Excellent vacation home! The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. We stayed in this home with another family and our children, all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The children and adults alike liked the pac man game on the first level. The home also has an extra fridge on the first level which was convenient for grilling/the pool area. The location was very convenient: we were pleasantly surprised that the grocery store, ice cream shop and duck donuts was less than 3 minutes away! We were off season so the trolley was not running, but beach access was still close by and easy to use. The few issues we ran into were easily and quickly resolved by contacting Village Realty (small things like replacing the propane tank, assistance with the pool filter). We would definitely return here in the future, and have already recommended this home to friends.

Beautiful property.

We stayed for a partial week. So, unfortunately, we didn't have a chance to take advantage of the activities and facilities offered by the resort. However, the house was enough to keep 4 adults, 3 teenagers, and 3 little ones from getting stir crazy or bored, which ain't easy, lol. I loved that there is a grocery store, souvinier shop and ice cream parlor within walking distance, you don't even have to get on the main road. Added bonus, grocery store is open 24hrs. Also, we loved and appeciated the valet service at the beach and private parking. We didn't use the shuttle service to the beach but is another added perk. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Tee to Shining Sea

Best house we have stayed at in our 13 years of visiting this gorgeous island, cant wait till next year! Ocean and Sound Views, walking distance to grocery store/eateries/etc.... Could not ask for a better location with such a beautiful house.
