Our Outer Banks oceanfront vacation home on a quiet cul-de-sac has everything you need for a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. From the front deck enjoy the views of the beach and the ocean. From the screened-in back deck enjoy spectacular sunsets over the sound. Swim in the pool, soak in the hot tub or take a walk on the beach. Your vacation will be a very special time.

Multi-level decks facing the ocean with a private walkway to the beach. Private pool and oceanside hot tub. 4 Master Bedrooms, all with direct access to ocean-side decks. Kitchen newly updated with granite counters, a Jenn-Aire convection/conventional electric oven. Jacuzzi tub in master bedroom, screened porch with furniture and two ceiling fans, gas fireplace available off season weeks. Family friendly with books, games and kid's bedroom with 2 sets of bunk-beds. Two outside showers, fish cleaning station, enclosed garage with additional refrigerator, outside gas grill on pad with a work light. Wireless Internet access available.

No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Parking for 4 cars. Village Beach Club access not included. Ask about our Military Discount.

Enjoyed the house. The house has wonderful views of the ocean. Most of the rooms have access to porches with ocean views. The house is great for twelve people. The only issue we had was the difficult access to the beach from the house. It is a steep hill down to the beach once you leave the boardwalk. Going down is okay, but coming up the hill is tough if you are older. Would suggest some type of rope or railing to assist in the climb up the hill.

It was a good stay. this was the third year at the same house and it definitely needs an updating. An elevator would be a plus too. We are not renewing our lease for 2026 because the price is increasing almost $2,000 for next year and it isn’t worth the increase

We had a wonderful time! The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms were perfect for our family. We really loved the pool and hot tub. Both were very clean. There was plenty of parking and the views were spectacular!

This house is amazing and we had a great time. Beautiful views and a perfect house for families. The only complaint would be the WiFi. It kept kicking us off the network even though the signal seemed strong.

Our stay at Castle in the Sand was everything we could have expected. The location, being on the beach and close to everything is exactly what we needed and were looking for. We would be glad to spend time here when visiting the Outer Banks again! If there was only one complaint, it would be that we did not have wifi access and needed to go to coffee shops daily to catch up on work emails that needed immediate response.

A wonderful property in a prime, secluded location. A bit strange to have to access beach through bedrooms on second floor or go all the way down to garage and back up--difficult to manage for our older family members. A few more thoughts: mattresses (especially upstairs master) and carpet could use updating. Several of the window blinds are broken and need fixing. Providing kitchen towels would be greatly appreciated. Ceiling fan in lower master (with sitting room) makes clicking noise. While the kitchen was overall well-supplied, some of the pans were in poor condition. Loved the two coffee pots! Loved the outdoor shower area and the foot wash station on the boardwalk. Appreciated the remote check-in and app for requests during stay.
