The house was great. Beautiful views and plenty of room for our 8 person golf trip. The central location made it quick and easy to hop around. Amazing porch and deck views and a nice dock to hangout on. The house was very clean when we arrived and there was no issues with the AC, Wi-Fi, or TV. The only “issue” we had was that there was no grill for such a large house. I would definitely recommend this house for another stay.

The location of the house is in the middle so it’s not too far to anything north or south of nags head which made it a really great house. The house was well equipped with everything you need and the extras were amazing. We had such an amazing trip because our house was great.

This house is perfect for those that want to dock a boat for fishing or for those that want an amazing outdoor space! The house itself has everything you could need for a vacation and all of the furniture is comfortable. It could use a little TLC on a few things, but nothing that would stop you from having a great vacation. Also, you just can't beat the location of the inlet for getting your boat in and out!

Website description and photos are accurate. As others have said we loved the outdoor areas. Nice furnishings on all levels. We didn’t use but there are top of the line beach chairs, 4 bikes, kayaks and paddle boards, misc things for young children. There is a small secluded beach area on sound side. Nice neighborhood, great for walking in the evening. Would definitely recommend! So close to everything. 15 minutes to Wright Brothers museum.

We loved all the outdoor spaces on 3 different levels. There was a subtle breeze that made you want to sit outside and enjoy the water views. The outdoor seating options were the best we’ve ever had in 20 years of renting homes on The OXB. We also enjoyed the kayaks and bikes since we are an active family. Thank you. We loved it!

The house was bigger than we needed but we chose it because it allowed our dog, had kayaks and was really nice. The 4 days we stayed here it was really bad weather, raining and cold. We used the neighbor's pier to get the kayak in the water one day, the pier at this house was too high. Not a great backyard pier for fishing although we tried. The neighbor told us no one catches anything there, but he told us how to get to the neighborhood clubhouse pier which was set up nicely for fishing, basketball and pool. Close to everything we planned to go to-Jeanette's pier, Jockey's ridge park, lighthouse and in between all the great restaurants. it was off season, so lots of things were closed. Try Turf's Up if it's raining-that was fun. The Black Pelican was our favorite restaurant and oddly enough, Outback steakhouse could not be beat for $16.99-salad, steak, side and dessert. We can't wait to come back and if the price isn't too high in-season, we would stay here again!!! Kids want to come back when we can use the bikes and kayaks in warm weather.

We had a wonderful time at this professionally operated vacation home that has all of the touches that bring -- thoughtful access to the beach and recreation, from bikes to paddle boards, to kayak, to beach chairs. Well stocked kitchen for home meals. Two couple rooms and two rooms with multiple sleeping beds allowed for lots of flexibility between parents and kids.

We had a great stay at the Canal home. There were beautiful views of the canal in the back and oven in the front. Lots of fun things to do on the property and in the area. We loved having the bikes to ride around the area. There are speed limit signs that everyone respected so it made bike riding and walking safe. Lots of great seating in the back to drink coffee relax by the water. Very short drive to Jeanette's Pier which is where we parked for the beach. Lots of shops and food stores near by.

This hone was lovely- fantastic views and very convenient to the sound with our boat! Outdoor furniture on 3 levels was lovely and extremely comfortable- so much outdoor space to enjoy! Renters should be aware that this is an upside down house so up 2 sets of stairs to the living space makes for a lot of stair climbing if that is difficult for anyone in your party. The master bedroom was a bit small and has no dresser, but other than that we loved our stay in this home!

The house was fantastic and in such a great area of Nags Head! We were close to a ton of great restaurants and beach access points. The outdoor spaces at the house were great and we loved the kayaks and hammocks! Having our dog on our vacation with us was a big bonus!

This home was absolutely perfect for my family vacation to Nags Head. We loved being on the sound side with our small kids. There is access to a sandy beach area within walking distance. The house itself had everything we needed including toys for the kids to play with, kitchenware, and linens. The outside has a nice setup for all ages. There are bikes, kayaks, a paddle board, and cornhole for entertainment. There’s also a water table and sand toys for the kids that can be used right under the main carport area. The outdoor porches all have quality outdoor furniture including hammocks, swings, and rocking chairs. This place is so family friendly and truly has something for everyone! It was nice to have the water activities for when we felt adventurous, and also the patio areas to hangout when we wanted to rest and relax. Communication with the property manager was seamless and I always heard back very quickly. Highly recommend this beautiful home!
