Description
Sassy Seas is an oceanside, dog-friendly home in South Nags Head situated on a spacious corner lot with barefoot friendly lawn - perfect for kids and pets! Getting to the beach will be quick and easy using the semi-private access across the street, just a three-minute walk from the house. After a day of sun, sand and surf, the outdoor fun can continue back at the house where a sparkling private pool and a bubbly hot tub provide around-the-clock enjoyment and relaxation. All four bedrooms include ensuite baths, so everyone will have their own private retreat to escape to at the end of the night.
Sassy Seas features a reverse floor plan with an open-concept great room for enjoying the ocean views. This comfortably furnished space leads out to an east-facing sun deck where you can watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee. Back inside, prepare meals in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The first king suite is conveniently located on the top floor, just off the living area. Two more bedrooms make up the mid-level, including a second spacious king suite, along with a covered deck overlooking the pool area below. Downstairs, you'll find the fourth bedroom and a rec room that serves as an additional common area for hanging out with family and friends. Gather everyone around the card table for board games, puzzles or a round of poker. Direct access to the pool area will make indoor/outdoor transitioning effortless. Use the ground level wet bar with full size fridge for grilling out by the pool or simply enjoying a cold beverage while lounging in the sun.
Conveniently located at Milepost 18, Sassy Seas offers guests the tranquility of the slower-paced South Nags Head area while still being close to grocery stores, shopping and dining. Take a bike ride to Sam & Omie's for brunch and their famous Bloody Marys, then cross the street over to Jennette's Pier for some of the best fishing and surfing conditions on the East Coast. Or head a mile south to the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and Fish Head's Bar and Grill, where you can order food and drinks on the oceanfront while listening to live music. At dinnertime, take a short drive over to the causeway where you'll find legendary Outer Banks restaurants including Sugar Creek, Tale of the Whale, and Lone Cedar.
Pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use. Ask about our Military Discount. CANCELATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancelation, all monies will be refunded less a $150 cancelation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancelations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

Sassy Seas was the perfect spot for our family vacation! The home is beautiful and the location is great! The kitchen was stocked with so many useful cooking items! We loved the open layout on the top floor. The bedrooms and bathroom are great, both have many storage options. The bottom level with the kitchen set up is super convenient. The hot tub was a dream! It was too cold to use the pool sadly, but it was nice! We loved the walk to the beach, a straight path not too long at all. This was our 2nd spring stay at Sassy Seas, and we loved it every bit as much as last year! It's a fantastic location, and the house is cozy and comfortable with everything you could need for staying and cooking in if you don't want to eat every meal out. Home exterior was awesome, pool was pristine and there were toys & floats for the kids. Plenty of chairs and a great hot tub & outdoor shower. Gas grill major bonus. The bedrooms are a little crowded but met requirements. Small bathrooms but clean. Main/largest bedroom is on middle level across from kid room (which had a trundle--thanks!) Bedroom on 3rd floor was the smallest but had a king size bed. Kitchen was well equipped for a large group. Abundant soft blankets & extra pillows in living space. Fun game space, extra fridge also a huge bonus for large groups and access during pool-time. Outdoor covered deck space & chairs on middle level was terrific. Traffic outside is noisy and persistent. Had to cross busy street to walk to beach. Overall, we had everything and more to enjoy our week as a group of 9 plus the dog.
