A reverse floor plan takes full advantage of the panoramic ocean views, which can be enjoyed from all the common areas on the top level. Stylish, wide-plank LVP flooring is installed throughout, and the open-concept layout allows everyone to spend quality time together. Vaulted ceilings with skylights make the space feel bright and airy, while the original juniper paneling maintains the home's original warmth and character. A spacious living area spans the width of the house and provides plenty of comfortable seating. It leads out to an expansive oceanfront deck where you can take a relaxing soak in the bubbly hot tub while enjoying the ocean view. Back inside, everyone can pitch in with meal prep using the newly remodeled kitchen boasting stunning quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. With two dining tables that seat a total of twelve and bar seating for eight, there's more than enough room for everyone to sit down and enjoy meals together. The primary bedroom is also located on the top level and includes a king bed, ensuite bath and private deck. All other bedrooms are situated on the lower level, including a second ensuite. Three of the mid-level bedrooms feature deck access for fresh ocean breezes and falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. There's also a den that can serve as a second hangout space with convenient access to a wet bar and mini fridge.

Located at Milepost 19 where the beaches are wide and uncrowded, Sea of Tranquility is in a slower-paced, family-friendly area while still being just a short drive away from grocery stores, shopping and dining. Less than a mile north of the house you'll find the Outer Banks Fishing Pier and Fish Head's Bar and Grill, where you can order food and drinks on the oceanfront while listening to live music. You'll be just 3 miles from Coquina Beach and the 4x4 beaches, part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore and a favorite local spot for fishing and surfing. From there, explore Bodie Island Lighthouse or head south for a day trip to Ocracoke.

Hideaway at Nags Head

Very relaxing....perfect for our family of 7. The design of the house offered privacy for each of the bedrooms and there was a great view of the ocean. The location was great. The house was clean and practical. We will definitely go back.

Perfect stay. The location was perfect. The house was designed so that our family of 7 had the privacy they needed. The house was functional and practical. It was clean and the view from the great room was awesome. Only one recommendation --It needs more light. The window blinds need to be replaced and some light bulbs. There needs to be a light fixture or floor lamp at the end of the long table in great room. I would definitely come back.
