Crabby Patty is a well-maintained and comfortably furnished oceanside home located in Dolphin Run, a part of the Village at Nags Head community. The cheerful color palette and beach-themed decor create a delightful atmosphere for casual family fun. The main living area features LVT flooring throughout, with an open-concept layout that encourages quality time spent together. Ideal for families with children, Crabby Patty is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac and has a basketball hoop in the driveway. After a long day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower before firing up the grill for the catch of the day.

Guests who stay at Crabby Patty have access to the Village Beach Club, open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day and on weekends during May and September. This exclusive oceanfront facility and lifeguarded beach access is located just south of Dolphin Run, so you can walk, bike or take advantage of the free and convenient oceanfront parking. Amenities include an Olympic-sized pool, kiddie pool, bath house, pickleball court, and even a cafe with snacks, lunch and a full-service bar. The Village Beach Club is the one-stop, everything-you-need destination for a full day of fun in the sun for the entire family.

Centrally located in Nags Head on the east side of bypass, Dolphin Run is the perfect neighborhood for guests who are looking for both easy access to the beach along with a variety of nearby shopping and dining options. Within a mile radius of Crabby Patty you'll find the Outer Banks Mall, two grocery stores, ice cream, gift shops and go-carts.

PLEASE NOTE: Parking at the Village Beach Club requires a pass, costing $25 per car per day. Membership questions can be answered and passes obtained by checking in with Village Beach Club staff.

Great house, very clean. Amazing location with access to the Beach Club. It would be nice to have an area in the lower level to leave beach toys, boogie boards and beach things that people dont want to take home. I have stayed at other locations and this can be a nice touch. Very happy with our stay. Will come again.

Dolphin Run is our favorite neighborhood on the Outer Banks. The proximity of Crabby Patty to both public access and the Village Beach Club make it ideal for traveling with grandchildren. The house was exactly as pictured. The club staff were great. Looking forward to next summer in Dolphin Run.

We really enjoyed our stay at Crabby Patty! The location is great-1.5 blocks from the beach and the clubhouse. We loved having the clubhouse/pool option. The house was very clean and well-appointed, kitchen very well stocked with plenty of dishes, cookware and utensils. The house was very comfortable for our group of 6 and still could've comfortably slept 3 more (in beds! - not pull out couches or air mattresses). All communication was done through airbnb or the Village Realty app. My only comment is that in other airbnb's, I am used to finding information in the house about wifi password, restaurant recommendations, clubhouse hours/amenities, etc. At Crabby Patty, there is no book, you have to use the Village Realty app to get any of that information and we found the app to be rather sparse. V.R. was very responsive by text and through airbnb but I would've liked to have more of that information right in the house. It didn't affect our vacation so I'd still give Crabby Patty 5 stars.

Enjoyed our stay at Crabby Patty! The house was just as described with plenty of room for our family of 6. It was great to have a lot of amenities provided and the beds made up with fresh linens. Easy walk to the beach and community pool. The pool is fantastic with a nice snack bar and regular bar for lunch. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores in the area to choose from. This was our first trip to the OBX and we will definitely be back!
