Happy Dog Days is a one-of-a-kind Nags Head vacation rental designed for families and their canine companions. Highlights include ocean views, private balconies, a custom paw-shaped private pool, a year-round hot tub, a fenced yard with a dog run, an elevator, and a recreation room. This dog-friendly Outer Banks beach house has space for the whole family and their four-legged guests.

Inside, the ground level offers a recreation room with bumper pool, a card table, TV/DVD, and a wet bar. The mid-level has a King ensuite, a Queen ensuite, a Twin bedroom, and a bunk bedroom, and the upper level has the living area, dining area, kitchen, and a second King ensuite. Outside, the 20 x 23-foot paw-shaped pool includes pool heat at no additional charge in the fall and spring, and the six-person hot tub is open year-round.

Happy Dog Days is located in the Old Nags Head Place community in Nags Head, a short walk from the beach.

Nags Head is the heart of the Outer Banks, and this home puts you close to everything the area offers. Climb the towering dunes at Jockey's Ridge State Park, the tallest living sand dune system on the East Coast, for hang gliding, kite flying, and sunset views. Walk the boardwalks of Nags Head Woods, or fish and watch the surf from Jennette's Pier and the Nags Head Fishing Pier. A short drive takes you to the Bodie Island Lighthouse, the Wright Brothers National Memorial, and the shops, waterfront dining, and historic charm of Manteo on Roanoke Island. Local seafood restaurants, ice cream shops, mini golf, and beach shops line the main roads, so there is always something to do between beach days.
