KH4900: The Dancing Sea Horse

Close to the beach. Roomy. Excellent views. Village Realty responsive to our needs. Repair folks pleasant and accommodating. Would book a rental with Village Realty again.

We had a great stay! House was nice and clean upon arrival. The pool, hot tub, and outdoor area were all very nice. The short walk to the beach was great. There was a charcoal grill, beach carts, and a few pool floats for use. One thing not mentioned in the listing that was very helpful was the bathroom (toilet only) in the garage, which was great for hopping out of the pool and not tracking through the house all wet to use the bathroom. We would stay here again without hesitation!

Perfect location! There are a lot of stairs but the elevator really helps, especially with a bad knee. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the gadgets and gizmos you need to make literally anything. The ONLY suggestion I can make is to post the trash schedule maybe on the fridge. There was plenty of room for my entire family. We’ve had annual family vacations at OBX for the last 6 years. This was our 4th rental and I think we finally found our forever vacation home.

Great week and wonderful rental. The elevator was a godsend for getting all our luggage upstairs. Kitchen has a huge supply of dishes and cookware. All good quality as well. Will definitely consider this property in the future.

This is our second year here, Girl's Week has been a tradition since 1997. This house is gorgeous and close to the beach. In fact you can set on the deck and watch the sunrise. It is well equipped with anything you would need. 2025 has already been reserved!

We loved our stay - this house is fantastic! Awesome location with a view of the ocean and a short walk to the beach, as well as, a short drive to the grocery and restaurants. If we weren't at the beach, we were in the hot tub and pool. Everything was very clean, and very room was true to the photos. We love this house and can't wait to come back!

My family and I absolutely loved staying at The Dancing Seahorse. The location was absolutely amazing. The views were spectacular from porches. I truly enjoyed sitting out there and enjoying my coffee plus reading my book. The beach being right there was so fantastic. It wasn't packed because we went during the off-season, so there were plenty of seashells to pick!

This place was all you could possibly want in a stay in OBX. It’s close to the beach, pool is wonderful! The way the home is laid out makes it wonderful for the early risers to be on the top floor and those who like to sleep in on the floor below which is so convenient! A bonus is a child’s room, which had everything we needed. The next time we take a family trip again, for sure, I would pick this home. It was extremely clean and that was evident from the first moment you walked in the door. Don’t forget to bring extra towels and toilet paper and paper towels…they do mention this in the info they send. Everything you need is readily available and it couldn’t have been more perfect for our family. A+. They do mention that beach chairs are not available, so we spent $100 and bought three, but there were beach chairs there. Oh well! Loved our time here!

Beautiful home with a great location. Fully stocked too! Only thing I would change would be to remove some of the kitchen goods in the large cabinet so that there's room for groceries to be stored. The coffee maker broke one morning, but Village Realty brought a brand new one later that afternoon. We were very happy with the home and realty services.

The Dancing Seahorse was an amazing house. The beds were very comfortable and the views of the ocean from the decks were perfect. The close proximity to the beach was also great. Plenty of room in the house and nice pool and hot tub. The house is also conveniently located near shopping. Village Realty was responsive and cleaned the pool the same day I called. We would definitely stay there again or rent from the same realty company.

Beach access is so close as shown-its a half block. The house was clean and tidy. It was a nice house without being fancy- just what I wanted. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Stayed with four little kids and it was great.
