The house and the furnishings were great. I was not impressed with the towels and wash cloths in the house. I suspect they were provided by a commercial company. As always, Nags Head provided a great vacation for me and my family.- Reviewed On: 8/12/2025

We've stayed at Flying Colors (SS-48) several times -- it's our favorite OBX beach house. The house is meticulously maintained, it is nicely furnished, has a well-stocked kitchen, great pool and much more! the Sea Side neighborhood is private, quiet and is convenient to the beach and all of our favorite OBX restaurants and shops. We really liked this house and how close it was to the beach. The very clean pool with lots of chairs and table to have lunch was a huge hit. The kitchen was well appointed which made it very easy for fun meals.- Reviewed On: 8/18/2024

Our stay in this home was great. The home is well-appointed, comfortable, and in good working order. It is a short walk to the uncrowded beach. The pool needs work since the plexiglass is visible in several spots. The ice maker produces a little ice, but not enough for an entire family. Otherwise, a great experience!- Reviewed On: 8/5/2024

We enjoyed our week in this home! The private pool and outdoor shower were great! It was such a short & easy walk to the private beach, as well. We were able to walk to a local ice cream shop & to a souvenir shop, which was fun! The neighborhood was quiet and the other residents & guests were friendly. I’d definitely book again! Great house. Very accommodating. My family thoroughly enjoyed are stay. Enough spacious private rooms for everybody with a good area for community activities.Unfortunately the Pool Side Umbrella was broken and the ice maker in the refrigerator was not functional but otherwise the place is flawless.- Reviewed On: 7/1/2022
