We really enjoyed our stay at Pelican Post. The views of the ocean are excellent with exceptionally large, clear windows. The Master Bedroom is particularly great with the adjoining deck a great place to view the sunrise. The kitchen is nicely updated, the living space is comfy, and the high quality deck furniture made for the perfect outdoor space. The only minor complaint is the bathrooms can be a bit small when needing to share counterspace. There is easy access over the dune and the location is nicely positioned for a bike ride into Duck or a short ride up to Corolla.- Reviewed On: 8/19/2025

kitchen was well stocked with nicer flatware and dishes than we normally see in rentals. home seemed very clean. location of property was good. close to local eateries and shopping. one bad thing. Beautiful home on the beach with great view of ocean. Clean and very well equipped. Especially liked all of the plastic food storage containers. Kitchen could use a sharp paring knife. Our grandson enjoyed the container of Legos. Only complaint was the shortage of towels. On arrival we did not receive one per person. This house exceeded my expectations. The views are incredible. You are looking directly at the ocean from almost every room. The covered outdoor porches and comfortable outdoor furniture provided a tranquil environment to relax and enjoy the morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped to cook anything, it even had crab hammers and crackers!! Location was great. We rode Ebikes to get ice cream and go to the playground. My 2 year old grandson LOVED his room. It was conveniently next to a bathroom with a tub and connected to his parents room. There is also a great little area under the house that we hung a hammock. It has a few tables and outdoor shower. Keeps sand out of the house. We are definitely returning next year. We loved everything about this beach house rental! You can't get any closer to the beach. The house was just beautiful and perfect. We also loved the location where there are plenty of restaurants and shopping but also not to far from other towns such as Corolla and Kitty Hawk. We did have an issue with the dryer half way through our stay. Village Realty contacted the owner and they got a new dryer replaced within two days and also provided us with extra towels which was very appreciated. Nice house, Amazing views!
The house was lovely. Exceeded our expectations. It is well stocked with games, books and puzzles for those rainy days. Wonderful week except at accident of the beach. Grilling area was wonderful.
