Stepping into the first level, Moon Palace welcomes you with an inviting entrance, a game area with a pool table, a mini kitchenette with a refrigerator, and a pyramid bunk bed to ensure everyone has a comfortable place to sleep.

The second level offers guest queen bedrooms, additional bunk beds, a laundry room for convenience, and access to an outdoor deck complete with a hot tub, ideal for unwinding after a day of beachside adventures.

Within the third level hosts the heart of the home, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy coffee room, a dining area, a living room, a daybed nook, and access to an ocean view deck where you can soak in the surrounding beauty.

Sneak away to the top level, to find the master bedroom with an ensuite jacuzzi and a private balcony offering sweeping views of the ocean.

Spent a week at the Moon Place with my family and it was heavenly. The house was extremely spacious and Comfortable for all of us, including my toddler. We had a great time playing pool, making delicious meals, catching beautiful sunsets and relaxing in the outdoor hot tub. I also really enjoyed the family of deer that continued to make appearances. It was so charming. With all of that, the most relaxing baths and amazing sleep, I was truly sad to leave. I know my family will be back.

We've stayed at Moon Palace with a group several times over the years and each time it has been wonderful. It has everything you'd need from an easy walk to the beach, excellent views indoors and out, a pool and hot tub, well appointed kitchen, comfortable rooms, an elevator, and convenient food/drink options (Waterman's!) while being in a quieter area. I would highly recommend Moon Palace, and am already looking forward to our next visit!

Moon Palace OBX was a serene oasis to work remotely for a week and spend time with loved ones. It was so special to make memories waking up to the sunrise over the ocean, walking on the beach with dolphin pods frolicking along the shore, and relaxing in the hot tub! The house has great views - where else can you get both sunrise and sunset! - and spacious nooks and convenient communal areas to hang out. We had so many ways to stay entertained— playing pool downstairs, games upstairs, cooking together in the spacious kitchen. Couldn’t give a higher recommendation to the wonderful hosts.

We were so pleased with our visit to Moon Palace. The view from the top floor for sunrise was beyond compare. Hot tub and pool table were great for the teenagers. Loved the kitchen offerings! We always worry about homes being child-friendly, but I had no worries about my kiddos safety at all.

We’ve been here several times and always thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is tops, with stunning views plus proximity to excellent local restaurants. You can tell that the owners care about the property and are thoughtful about what guests might want or need. Between a couple of our visits they installed an elevator! Our favorite part of it is the hot tub, perfectly situated for use in all-weather, and still with exquisite lines of sight. As long as it is available for rent, the only place we’ll ever stay in OBX!

At the Moon Palace, you and your team can pick what kind of vacation they’re feeling - lounging in the sunny common area, relaxing on the deck, spending time in the gorgeous hot tub or pool, or down on the spacious beach. Can’t recommend this place enough, and if you make it down, I’d recommend also checking out Waterman’s Retreat for their happy hour, or Lisa’s Pizza for an easy dinner. 😎🔥👍
