All-new interior home comfort and waterfront living are yours at this renovated, canal-front retreat. Part of the Colington Harbour Community, this inviting escape includes access to a sound-side beach, a picnic area, and a community pool. You can also launch one of the home's four provided kayaks right from the backyard dock to explore the waters around the neighborhood. After your tour, spread out around the large, partially fenced lawn or fire up the private gas grill for a family barbecue on the deck. A gas firepit sets the scene for outdoor entertainment under the stars. Ocean-side beaches, local dining options, and the Wright Brothers National Memorial are four miles away.

From the beds to the decor, the spacious, two-story interior has been completely renovated for modern guest comfort. Stainless steel full kitchens can be found on each floor for ultimate family-style meal planning and flexibility for groups. Family fun and friendly competition await in the downstairs game room complete with foosball, billiards, Ping-Pong, and a smart TV. Upstairs, plush seating and a smart TV are ready for home movie nights. The gorgeous lower-level sunroom boasts breathtaking views of the canal. Each bedroom includes its own smart TV for added convenience. Two downstairs bonus rooms are furnished as additional sleeping options. Home essentials include central air-conditioning, free WiFi, and a private washer/dryer.

The home met all our expectations for 6 people and out small dog. Plenty of room, bathrooms, and great kitchen upstairs to prepare family meals for that much needed time around the table for conversation. Would definitely stay again for a second time. Just have to wait and see what next year holds.

We loved Sandy Eagle because of the comfort and space it offered. Our family of 8 was able to spread out and have plenty of personal space in the six bedrooms and yet congregate easily in the main living room and all sit around the table to eat together. We loved the crazy comfortable mattresses (obviously quite new), bluetooth speakers in the bathrooms and enclosed porch with gliders to sit and watch the canal. Having two kitchens (one for each level) was a bonus, it's easy to fill one fridge quickly when you have 8 people. We also had fun with the mini-pool table and the foosball table. Overall the kitchen was pretty well stocked, but if you do "scratch cooking' you should know that while there are plenty of plates, glasses and silverware as well as all the standard small appliances (blender, large, oval slow cooker, toaster, Keurig) there are no mixing bowls or serving pieces. We got creative a few times, not worth giving only 4 stars, but good to know if you are a cook. We go to the Outer Banks frequently and will give Sandy Eagle a look to see if it's available for our next visit.
