I had a wonderful time in Rodanthe! I was hesitant to book "Just Beachy" since it had no reviews, but Village Realty was amazing. The home matched the listing and is a short walk to the beach, though you must climb a steep dune to reach the beach, which could be tough for anyone with mobility issues.
The house had minor cosmetic wear, like peeling ceiling stucco, but everything worked well. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, and tools, though you must bring food and laundry detergent (dish soap was provided). Washer, dryer, dishwasher, coffee pot, linens, and a hot tub were all available.
Nearby dining is quiet, but more options are 15–20 minutes away. Upon arrival, the driveway was flooded from rain and the Wi-Fi was down, but Village Realty fixed the internet within 24 hours.
Overall, it was a deeply relaxing trip—and getting engaged was the icing on the cake! My fiancé and I hope to return next year. Village Realty were great hosts, and I highly recommend this stay.Brielle - Posted: 8/9/2026
