We enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very close to the beach, restaurants, stores and attractions. We were happy to be able to bring our small dog. The beds were pretty comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed with a good amount of prep, cooking and serving items. After reading some reviews about the cleanliness of the house, I called Village Realty to make sure the house would be clean upon our arrival. They assured me it would be clean and they kept their word, the house was freshly cleaned. However, this house is in serious need of some TLC. Many floor tiles are cracked and chipped. Several things, such as the dishwasher, are in poor working order. It looks like it has not been painted in a very long time which makes it feel like it isn't clean. There is nice outside space, but the outdoor furniture was old and dirty and there was no hose to clean it ourselves. I would think cleaning the outdoor furniture would be part of the house cleaning, but I guess not. It was unfortunate that we weren't able to use those spaces. It's a cute house in a great location with great potential, it just needs some care and fixing up.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. The beach was within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful.
Restaurants and another activities were all within 5 minutes from the home. Would highly recommend!

This was our first visit to outer banks and we had a great time! The house was wonderful and when we come back(and we will) we will be hoping to stay at the Blackbird Inn again!!! Very clean and had all accommodations to meet out needs! Thank you!!

We had so much fun, loved the place, easy walk to the beach, they provided chairs and sand caslte tools, there was an umbrella, we got to see dolphins while sitting on the beach up close and watched the pelicans. The easy access to the shopping and eating facilities is perfect. thank you for such a beautiful place to stay.

Perfect beach spot

Less then 5 min walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood with all amenities right at your door. Would visit again!

Close to beach

It was a convenient 5 minute walk to the beach and the rooms were spread out nicely. The house was older ( with some quirks) although clean and good for a large family visit.
