We vacation in Corolla every summer. We love to stay at the Currituck Club, and Il Destino has been our favorite house yet. It had everything we needed and was clean. The only area of improvement I can think of is that only one bedroom had a ceiling fan.

The house was well maintained, furnished, and stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen area. Plenty of space for everyone. Bathrooms were nice, great water pressure and temperature. Had a few very minor issues that were addressed within a couple of hours; no gas in grill tank or brushes to clean grill, issue with AC, and smoke detector having low battery. But the response time was great! Pool area was a bit dirty, lots of leaves, etc. Overall one of our favorite places we’ve stayed in. Love the ease of check in and check out. House was very clean.

July 2017 Stay

My family stays in the Currituck Club every year! We love the small community feel and the activities provided. This home was lovely and accommodated our family well. We loved having 3 floors to spread out on. One thing we would've loved to have is outdoor lighting near the pool and hot tub. We wanted to relax and enjoy the pool at night but that's difficult with no lighting. Overall, we had a pleasant experience once again!

June 2017 Stay

The home and property were very nice. We enjoyed our stay here and had a wonderful time. There was an issue with the home not being completely cleaned when we got there (stairs had a lot of dirt on them, some of the bathrooms were only partially cleaned, dirty towel pile in laundry room) but nothing major. A few things future renters may find useful to know: since the main living area is on the mid floor and sound seemed to carry upward, noises in the main living area (middle floor) such as talking and the tv could easily be heard in the bedrooms on the top level even with the doors shut; another thing being no outside lights in the pool/hot tub area outside to make for safe nightime use, this would have been nice since most of the nights we were there were perfect night time swimming weather. There are a couple of outside lights on either side of the sliding doors on the bottom floor but it does not light up the pool area. Also, an FYI, the refrigerator was not cold when we got there and took almost 24 hours
