Description Description
This semi-oceanfront home is situated on one of the best lots in Whalehead Beach just steps across the street from the beach access. You'll enjoy ocean views and gorgeous sunsets over the sound from both the decks and interior rooms. When you're not at the beach, the home comes complete with all the amenities to make your vacation fun and relaxing including a swimming pool and hot tub, game room with pool table, spacious backyard for grilling, volleyball court, basketball goal and is a short distance from water sports, golf, fishing, shopping and restaurants.

Ground Level: There is a Queen room, a full hall bath and main bedroom with 2 Singles. In the game room there is a pool table, a full refrigerator and a comfortably furnished sitting area with TV. These areas are accessible to the large yard and swimming pool.

Mid Level: Has a main bedroom, 2 main bedrooms, a main bedroom with 2 Duobunks, a laundry room and access to deck that overlooks pool area.

Top Level: The great room has a fireplace, 52' TV/DVD, Blu-Ray and HD cable service w/ surround sound. The kitchen is equipped with 2 dishwashers and breakfast bar. The dining area offers sunset views. There are also 2 main bedrooms, one with a large garden tub. A half bath rounds out this floor.

We enjoyed our week in the Seas the Day house. It was spacious enough for all of our large family to spend time together and also to have privacy. We truly appreciated the open kitchen and two sinks, dishwashers and the double laundry. Quite helpful! The close proximity to the beach was perfect! I would never tire from the views from the living room and dining room windows. We would definitely stay again. The only things I would mention: the home needs a broom for quick tidy ups. Also the chairs in the dining room are in need of replacement. They are in rough shape.

The cleanliness and lack of kitchen supplies was a disappointment. A lot of cars turned around in the house driveway as they dropped people off at the access. We loved the location and lay out. mattresses were good but the main area furniture was really beat up. We would love to return, just hope property managers would clean up the issues as well as remove all the broken beachtoys and chairs from under the steps and back yard.

Thank you. Glad you loved the location, layout, and that the mattresses were comfortable. I’m sorry the cleanliness and lack of kitchen supplies were disappointing. I’ve notified housekeeping to address those issues and to increase starter kitchen supplies. I’ve also asked maintenance to inspect the main living furniture for repair or replacement and to remove the broken beach toys and chairs from under the steps and in the backyard. We’ll also speak with the homeowner about preventing cars from turning around in the driveway. We appreciate you bringing these items to our attention and hope to welcome you back soon.

We rented in March, had a large group and a dog. We all enjoyed the house. Unlike some others, we found the kitchen well equipped. I think they recently added new items. Lots of pots and pans and utensils. I rented a pet friendly house, and had a little concern it might have pet odors or damage. However that was not the case. It felt clean and no smells. There is definitely some wear on some of the furniture but that didn’t bother us. Nothing gross, just aging. One of the dishwashers does still leak (noted in other reviews), so we didn’t use that one. Some other reviews complained about the beach being busy. IMO, that is expected since the house is next to a public beach access and a public parking lot. If a busy section of beach is a problem for you, probably need to look for a house away from the public access. We did not pay a lot for the week stay (off season), and overall I feel we definitely got our moneys worth. The one thing that needs to be corrected is the access code supplied to us the day before the trip did not work. This seems to be a very common problem that many other reviewers noted.
