Sound Seclusion is truly a waterman's paradise! This unique waterfront property in Salvo is situated on the Pamlico Sound - perfect for kiting, windsurfing, kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding right from your backyard! After a day of fun in the sun, come home and unwind with a relaxing soak in the bubbly hot tub. Three levels of expansive decking on both the east and west sides of the house provide plenty of opportunities for soaking up the sun or relaxing in the shade.

Inside, a reverse floorplan takes full advantage of the location, with the main living area on the top level where everyone can enjoy the panoramic views. There's ample space to entertain in the open-concept great room with comfortable seating, vaulted ceilings, and an abundance of natural light. For an even better view, head up the spiral staircase to the loft and admire the spectacular sunsets from the balcony. All three bedrooms are conveniently located together on the mid-level, including a primary suite that features deck access and a private bath.

Sound Seclusion offers the peace and slower pace of Salvo while still being just minutes from shopping and dining in the adjacent towns of Waves and Rodanthe. Nearby favorites include Real Watersports, Watermen's Bar & Grill, Hatteras Island Surf Shop and Mirro's Cafe. Sound Seclusion is just 1 mile north of the popular Salvo Day Use Area, a family-friendly soundside beach maintained by the National Park Service that includes a picnic area and restroom facilities. For more adventure, take a short drive south to Cape Hatteras where you can climb the lighthouse, go driving on the beach, or hop on a ferry to Ocracoke.

Absolutely beautiful stay! The home was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and located in such a calm and peaceful setting. The views were truly incredible—we never got tired of looking out over the water and watching the sunsets.
Our family made so many unforgettable memories here, and the quiet surroundings made it the perfect place to relax, slow down, and enjoy our time together. This was one of those vacations we’ll be talking about for years to come.
We would absolutely love to return and wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for such a wonderful Outer Banks experience!

We had a wonderful time here, this house is beautiful and we loved how quiet and private it was. The dock was an extra bonus, as well as the kayak, canoe and paddle boards. The house was perfectly clean upon arrival. We had an issue with the dishwasher while we were there and Village Realty was very responsive and helped resolve the issue. There are plenty of dishes, pots/pans, and utensils to cook with. I wish we had brought extra washcloths because they only provide you with 1 per person (which they do make you aware of) and I was glad I brought extra blankets because they didn’t provide those. Overall, it was an amazing stay at the perfect house!

Great mid sized house.
Basic amenities and appliances in good condition. We were glad we brought our own extra blankets and well as beach chairs as the basic amenities did not accommodate these.
