Bring out the traveler and explorer in you and come to The Tipsea Turtle in The Currituck Club. This Outer Banks vacation home offers comfort and amenities to please even the pickiest travelers.

The Tipsea Turtle has five bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath. The reverse floor plan means the great room and kitchen are on the top (second) floor as is the king master bedroom.

Need to just relax inside? There are multiple TVs, Blu-Ray, DVD player, stereo and board games. Internet access is provided at no extra charge.

Nearby you will find two full service grocery stores; both are open year 'round. Harris-Teeter and Food Lion are both within a five to ten minute drive from the house. Consider visiting the Whalehead Club and the Currituck Lighthouse, just north of The Currituck Club. During the summer months free concerts are held on the lawn of The Whalehead Club on weeknights. For more adventure, take a tour of the Carova area...off road...where you may see some of our beautiful wild horses of Corolla.

No pets allowed. No smoking/vaping. Fireplace not available for guest use.

This was not a very memorable stay to say the least. They advertise this house as having a good golf discount attached, but that’s simply a lie. There are no discounts.
The AC went out our second day, and instead of having a professional even come look, they used window units that could barely pump ac into any room and we had 5!!! What is the point of having service technicians, if none of them know how to fix HVAC. The ceiling fan in the guest room was completely locked up. Multiple doors didn’t shut all the way throughout the house which allowed bugs to come in. Including cock roaches.
We had 4 guests out of our 10 leave three days before their scheduled departure because of the bugs, non-working ac, and the uncomfortable beds. No one could sleep well in the house and most were sore, cranky when they awoke.
Thank god the house in close proximity to a great bagel place.
It’s sad because I have stayed in the same neighborhood and had a much better experience the other time.

This by far was our best vacation ever. The house was incredible!! Exactly as listed with some things we didn’t anticipate!! The service was second to none and we CANNOT wait to come back!!!

A great house for our long weekend stay! 5-10 drive to public beach access and a GREAT location. Being so close to a grocery store and shops was a huge plus for us. The gated neighborhood was very nice and felt safe. We had a wonderful time

Great time!

This was exactly what we were hoping for! We had a great time being a family together enjoying all the neighborhood had to offer--the tennis courts, basketball courts, gym, walked to the beach and loved walking the neighborhood. The house is older, but has some updated furniture that felt clean. Their are definitely things that need updating, but could not ask for more with this pricepoint. Would return! And the rental company was great and very responsive & communicative. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at the Tipsea Turtle. It is a great place to stay with a larger group of people, especially with kids. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The kitchen is very well stocked, but the appliances are all a little inefficient and finicky. Overall, a good and affordable option for a family vacation.
