* SN1317: Outer Banks Beachfront Bungalow

This rental was the perfect beach getaway to unwind and enjoy the beach. Access to the beach is right outside the front door! The front windows of the house face the ocean, and we watched the sunrise from the bedroom every morning. We went in early April and enjoyed a quiet week during the off-season. The beaches are also dog friendly, and going during the off-season was a perfect time to bring our dog to the romp around in the sand and water. The house also has a great location relative to town - it's away from the busy strip in Kitty Hawk, but just a short a short drive to bars, restaurants and stores in town. We highly recommend this rental, and would definitely stay here again!

Our stay was fine, the handover from Vacassa to Village Realty went ok, some double mailing and reservation confirmation in the middle of our stay to be expected. The house needs some work, to say the least, from minor plumbing problems to siding coming off. My wife asked me about 5 times to call housekeeping, but I manage to placate her the remedy will be as much pain as the problem itself.

For a beach trip with our dog this was the perfect place—easy to get to the beach (right outside the door), comfy accommodations (that were dog friendly) and lots of glass doors to appreciate the breezes (and sound of the waves). Note the sand driveway—not an issue to get in and out, but you are walking g through sand to get in and out of your car.

Our family enjoyed this house and had an excellent time on the beach ! The house was the perfect size for our family, including our dog. It is also situated in the perfect place for quick and easy access to the beach, with a great view .

The location is spot on like other reviews state. Close to everything but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our stretch of beach was very thin with ppl throughout our week. The kitchen lacked some supplies that could be used especially for cooking in every day as we do. Some of the mattresses definitely need upgraded as well. Not very comfortable. The bugg at drawback is the sand driveway. Anytime you want to use the grill or after rinsing off in the outdoor shower, you get sand all over you again. It also makes it cumbersome packing/unloading the vehicle. Otherwise, great stay. Loved being able to walk home everyday for lunch and leaving our setup at the beach.

This is a great little bungalow along the beach with ample amenities. Protected by a dune, the comfy place is sheltered from waves and winds of the OBX. Close proximity to groceries, restaurants and other shopping.

Great location and price for a dog friendly rental. The queen beds were a little smaller than I expected, but other than that the only suggestion I would make to the owner is to ditch the carpet and get vinyl flooring. Due to the close proximity to the sand I think it would make sand clean up easier for your renters. I still highly recommend!!

We booked this trip last minute and glad we did! The place was very clean upon arrival and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was located right near the beach access which was great for being able to head back to make a quick lunch and get back to the beach.

Went down for a few days to celebrate our 1yr wedding anniversary, the house was very clean, bright, Absolutely loved the sliding doors to open to listen to the waves. The Dunes were a little higher then the pics so seeing the beach and waves crash weren’t as easy. Wished the master bedroom faced the ocean. But it was still very nice and cozy, and the area was very quiet, which was nice.

I had the perfect vacation at the Beachfront Bungalow! The location was peaceful and private, an ideal retreat for our family. I loved everything about this home—from its colorful beachy decor to its comfortable amenities. Every part of the stay was enjoyable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We stayed one night with our 3 year old and 1 year old, and they loved it! Super kid friendly, and the perfect cottage for a family trip. We especially loved the wrap around deck. We will be back again for sure!

We loved being right on the beach! The home was clean, spacious for our crew of 5 plus our pup, and quaintly decorated with absolutely everything we needed for our stay. Bathrooms were updated, bedrooms had ample room and storage, and we LOVED the views and light from the multiple sliders in the living area. Definitely would highly recommend this property for those seeking complete relaxation with good proximity to activities, shops, and restaurants!
