The master bedroom offers a spacious bathroom with a custom-tiled walk-in shower. Whispering Sands #5 is a private, quiet end unit with the best direct access to the beach, pool and ocean sun deck. The beach is one of the finest in Nags Head. Take a dip in the ocean or the oceanfront pool or just relax on the large sun deck and enjoy the view. Fall asleep to the sound of the ocean waves. You will delight in watching the dolphins frolic in the ocean from the living room deck. WS05 is close to dining and shopping.

Great place and location. Nicely furnished, comfortable beds and great amenities. We have been vacationing at this place and enjoy it more each time. A suggestion to make the best place even better…put in a sink kitchen garbage disposer.

The property was beautiful and very well equipped. Great location. Would rent again. The cleaners, however, leave a lot to be desired. Does anyone ever inspect when they are done? We definitely left it cleaner than we found it. Upstairs 1/2 bathroom was disgusting!

The perfect small townhouse right on the beach.
We loved our stay at #5 Whispering Sands. The place is older but exceptionally clean and well kept. The bathrooms are updated and the view from the upper deck is stunning.
The Village Realty communicated well, checked in with us often, and the instructions were super clear on check-in and check-out.
Home is at the S end of Nags Head and close to Manteo, Oregon Inlet, and the Pea Island Bridge, so Hatteras is a short drive. Jockey's Ridge and the Wright Brothers Memorial are also just a few minutes drive.
If you're going just for the beach you can't beat this place--the beach is right out the back door and absolutely stunning.
Our only complaints are re the mattresses--both master bedroom and the other room with 2 twin beds could use upgrading. For an adult sleeping in the twins, springs are literally poking through. Would be fine for kids, I'm sure, as their lighter weight would not pose the same problem.

This was our 32nd year staying at Whispering Sands 5. We always look forward to this time at the beach and staying at this condo. The location is great and the view from the top deck is awesome. We can always count on it being fully stocked with what we need to use to make our stay memorable. Our only complaint is that the time went by too fast. We are booked for next year. Thank you for all you do to give us such a spectacular, relaxed week!
