The Lazy Dog is an updated oceanside home in Corolla's Whalehead community that checks off everything on your OBX vacation wish list! The pool can be heated during certain times of the year, ideal for off-season getaways. Three of the six bedrooms are ensuite, ensuring privacy and comfort for multiple or extended families. The tastefully appointed open-concept great room features comfortable seating, two dining areas, dry bar, and plenty of space for gathering. It leads out to an expansive sun deck where you can enjoy horizon views of the ocean and breathtaking sunrises. There's also a screened porch with outdoor dining set, perfect for alfresco meals. Back inside, the well-stocked kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and an island with bar seating. Luxury vinyl plank flooring runs throughout the top level, including the primary king suite.

The fun continues downstairs where you'll find a rec room with shuffleboard table, comfortable seating area and TV. There's also a dry bar with full-size fridge that can be used for storing extra groceries. Getting to the beach is quick and safe using the nearby Barracuda beach access, just a four-minute walk from the house with no busy roads to cross. A multi-use path that runs through Corolla is perfect for jogging, biking and dog-walking.
