SS61: Dolphin Waves

Our family loved the location in the neighborhood and close to Jeanette’s Pier. The easy beach access and pool at the house were perfect. Check in was simple and the host was very responsive. The house was immaculate and rooms were cozy and perfect for our group.

Was much closer to the beach than expected, very easy short walk. There was a cart there to take our chairs to the beach. Beach had a steep hill to go down but there was a netted mat to help you. Beach was clean and private. Perfect sunrise and sunset views. Kitchen had lots of tools. There was a broom which came in handy with the sand. Also had a few bikes, we were able to ride to some shops.
Recommend fish heads pier and brewing station!

One of my more enjoyable vacations. Lovely accomodations, only a few concerns. The lawn around the house and the weeds in the pool area needed trimming badly. There were a few lights out in the main gathering area that had a very high ceiling. Overall a wonderful stay.

House was great loved the code for the front door easy access. The pool and hot tub were a bonus and in good shape. Nice short walk to the beach that produced great beach days as well as several dolphin sittings. A few minor details to work on, the grass needed cut, there was mold in two bath rooms, the latch in the fourth bedroom bath was installed improperly , and the return vents for the AC needed cleaning. Minus that we loved the area and house we will be back.

This was our first family trip to the OBX, since coming when we were kids about 25 years ago. The house was bright and spacious which we loved. There are ocean views from the top deck which was a nice surprise because the neighboring homes did not have that. The pool was a big hit with the kids, and the shade under the deck was a precious perk that we noticed the other pools around us did not have. The only reason I give it 4 stars, is because the kitchen was not properly cleaned when we arrived. Also the tenants before us did not take out the trash the day before, so all the trashcans were filled to the brim. The home had been speedily cleaned, and it was evident. Thankfully, the Village Realty team responded the next day and came by to correct it. We would rent this property again.

We love staying in Villages and Seaside 61 did not disappoint! Great location, such short walk to beach. Lots of shaded area to relax and keep cool by the pool which was great when taking a break from beach! Families with children will benefit from the additional roll out beds and trundle! My one year old grandson slept great in full size crib provided at the house! The gas grill having no gas was about the only item missing. But we fired up the charcoal grill instead! Would definitely book this home again!

This cottage is located in a great spot. Easy walk to the beach. The property manager was great and took care of any issues we had. We love the outer banks.

Our family of 11 had a great week at the OBX. It's our home away from home and have been coming to Nags Head with Village Realty since 1991! Time flies:) SS 61 met all our needs - clean, comfy, and safe walk to the beach.
