O'Shinn View is a casual yet well-appointed home in Whalehead Beach that provides guests with must-have amenities, nearby conveniences and... you guessed it - an ocean view! The oceanside location means getting to the beach is safe and easy using the Dolphin Street public access, just a 3-minute walk away. Back at the house, your family will love having a private pool right in the backyard which includes a hot tub and plenty of room for lounging in the sun. There's also a private putting green for honing your skills before heading over for a round of golf at The Currituck Club's Reece-Jones designed course.

Inside, a reverse floorplan and east-facing sun deck take full advantage of the ocean views from the top level. When you're not dining out at one of Corolla's fabulous restaurants, use the newly remodeled kitchen to prepare meals at the house. The chef in the family will especially appreciate the open-concept layout, where they can still be part of the action while cooking. O'Shinn View is ideal for extended families or multiple groups vacationing together. With a primary suite on the top level and three additional master suites on the mid-level, everyone will have plenty of space and privacy. Downstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms and a game room. Shoot pool or play Foosball for hours of indoor entertainment. There's even a wet bar with full-size fridge, perfect for convenient drinks and snacks by the pool.

Located on the southern end of the Whalehead community, O'Shinn View is less than half a mile from Monteray Plaza. Walk or bike to conveniences such as grocery stores, specialty food markets, gas stations and a coffee shop, plus beach gear stores and rentals. Nearby dining and takeout services include Sun Fish Grill, Sundogs and Sooey's BBQ. For the ultimate retail therapy session, head over to Timbuck II Shopping Village where you'll find favorites such as The Cotton Gin, The Cottage Shop and Gray's. The village also features some of Corolla's most popular restaurants including Mike Dianna's Grill Room and La Dolce Vita. After dinner, head over to Big Buck's for ice cream, followed by a round of mini golf and go carts.

This was a trip of a lifetime. My kids and grandchildren all stayed there. The house accommodated us very well.
We all loved having our own rooms and bathrooms. The kids had the entire bottom floor to themselves.
Beach in mornings and all enjoyed the pool multiple times a day. The adults enjoyed the hot tub as well.
The decks accommodated each bedroom for morning and evening relaxing.
The kitchen and family room and the open floor plan worked very well for a large family.
Would love to stay there again!

Corolla is lovely. The walk to the beach was about five minutes. Super clean place. No bugs spotted indoors!

What a great week we had! The house was so well stocked with everything you need in the kitchen. We loved the big kitchen table to all sit together every night for dinner. The pool was a great size for our group and the full pool area is in the sun all day. The beds were all comfortable and the rooms were the perfect sizes. The beach access was about 2 blocks away which wasn't bad at all. The beach right there in Whalehead was great! We had a group of 12 and we had plenty of to room on the beach. Also there are 2 shopping centers in walking distance and have every store you need for the week! Thank you for sharing your home. We had an amazing week of memories.

What an absolutely amazing house. We have rented plenty in OBX and this by far has been our favorite. The house doesn’t look like a rental and you would think from the well stocked kitchen and nice furnishings that it is a brand new rental. Even when we had an unexpected issue, the owner personally connected to quickly resolve the issue and ensure a great vacation. The views are great for third row and the location is fantastic. We will rent this house again. There was nothing we wished were different about this place expect that we didn’t want to leave.
