The open-concept layout allows for fabulous flow and sightlines throughout the common areas. Get dinner started in the fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and island with bar seating. At the end of the night, retreat to the spacious king suite with stunning tray ceiling and private bath with dual vanities. Two additional bedrooms will comfortably accommodate family and friends, and share access to a full hall bath.

Centrally located at Milepost 6 in Kill Devil Hills, Avalon Tides is within a mile radius of family-friendly activities including mini-golf and a movie theater. Ride bikes to the beach or Avalon Fishing Pier, just half a mile away. You'll also find a variety of restaurants close by including Awful Arthur's, Chili Peppers and The Jolly Roger. Guests can use the nearby community sound access for launching kayaks and SUP's. In the evenings, take your four-legged companion for a walk down the multi-use path along Bay Drive, where you can admire breathtaking sunsets over Kitty Hawk Bay.

Can’t stay an entire week? Avalon Tides is available for short stays and offers flexible arrival/departure options for those who like to plan ahead. In-season partial week stays (three-night minimum) can be reserved months in advance, and guests can choose any day of the week for check-in and check-out.

Great place for a family vacation as the house had just about anything you’d want from a great living room with probably the best TV/Soundbar of any place I’ve stayed along with a wonderfully appointed kitchen. DId I mention a great hot tub and private bar area underneath the house along with a shower when the weather is nicer/warmer. Also as a biker and a dog walker the sound side is perfect as just down the street you can get on the path.

We had a great time at this rental. Very clean and organized with everything you needed. Loved that we could bring our dog as well. You could walk to the beach, sound, stores and restaurants (we walk a lot so walkable for us may differ from others opinions of walkable). Overall great stay! Will stay here again!

What a great stay! Loved the location! Easy to get to grocery stores,etc. Kitchen was well stocked. And, the house was clean and well maintained. You are very close to neighbors. But, it’s set up well to feel private. Hot tub was amazing! Thank you!

We had an excellent stay. The house was well cleaned and equipped with everything we needed and more. We absolutely loved using the bikes to bike around the town. Easy arrival and access to everything in the house. I would highly recommend this place and I would stay here again!
