Welcome to Surf's Up, a renovated dog-friendly condo in the exclusive Shallowbag Bay Club. Recent updates include new furniture, fresh paint, and upgraded flooring throughout. Take advantage of on-site community amenities such as the outdoor pool, fitness center, grill, fish cleaning station, and a clubhouse with pool table. In the evenings, stroll along the boardwalk and out to the boat docks where you'll find a front-row seat for watching the spectacular sunsets. You won't have to go far for great food and drinks, since the waterfront restaurant Salt & Cypress is just steps away.

After a day at the beach or exploring town, come home and enjoy the views of the marina from the open-concept great room and covered deck, or prepare meals using the well-equipped kitchen. The primary suite provides deck access and includes a spacious private bath with double vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower. Surf's Up is located on the first floor - with just three steps to the front door plus a wheelchair ramp, access will be convenient for all.

Shallowbag Bay Club is a quaint boating community situated along Roanoke Island's Scarborough Creek. The full-service marina offers fishing charters and boat slips (please contact the Dockmaster in advance to make arrangements if bringing a boat). Be sure to set aside a day to explore Downtown Manteo where you can visit the Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse and browse an eclectic array of unique, locally owned boutiques, galleries and eateries. When you're ready to hit the beach, you'll be just a quick ten-minute drive over the bridge to the Nags Head public accesses with free parking.

Village reality made my stay in Manteo great! The condo was as described and perfect for two people! Highly recommend staying here for the convenience of getting to Nags Head with also being close to downtown Manteo, with the cutest shops and rich history. Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed the condo. It was exactly as described and working with village reality was very easy. The pictures were an exact representation of the property. All appliances worked as they should. Everything was great except for the parking. There is a very popular restaurant in the same building. This is a pro and the con. The restaurant is very good and only steps away from your front door. The problem is on Friday and Saturday night the guests at their restaurant take up all the parking spots. This may require you to park some distance from your room. Normally, this wouldn’t be much of a problem, but we were there during one of the wettest weeks I have ever experienced in 50 years of visiting the Outer Banks. A good reminder is that there is a fire lane close to the room where you can temporarily park to unload your luggage even if there is no nearby parking just remember to move your vehicle as soon as you’re done unloading. Aside from this everything was great

Condo was super cute and spacious for only being a one bedroom. It was pretty quiet where it was located even though it was near a restaurant. Only downfall was that due to it being near the restaurant, it made parking after check in incredibly hard to find. I had to park almost near the entrance and walk all the way to the condo the first two days. Made that hard while having an infant in tow. Other than that I have no complaints.

Absolutely loved our stay. The beachy decor was fun and staying in a marina was picturesque and fun.Everything was new, clean and confortable. Kitchen was well equipped. Can't wait to come back!

The condo was perfect for our getaway! Well stocked and comfortable with breathtaking water views of the boats and the sound. We were slightly disappointed that we couldn't actually launch our kayaks right from the docks there as that would have been so convenient and the icing on the cake to a great weekend. But we launched from the boat ramp in downtown Manteo instead and enjoyed exploring the marshes nearby. Definitely recommend this condo for a couple's getaway and will be marking this one to return to in the future!
