The location and layout of the house was exactly what we wanted/needed! We were worried when we had plumbing issues every day the first 3 days, but we had good service/quick response when needed. The kitchen sink faucet definitely needs repair because you have to work to get it in just the right place to keep it from dripping. The only other little bit of a surprise issue was that the grill is very small for cooking for a family of 14

Village Realty made our check in/Check out flawless and answered any questions we had quickly. The house was great for our party of 9. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and cookware. We just wish there would have been even just salt and pepper but we understand that may cause issues if it is left. The Food lion and Fresh Market were great grocery stores and very close to the house. We enjoyed playing pool and sitting in the hot tub in the evening. We borrowed fishing rods from a local Bait shop and the kids had a blast fishing for Sand Sharks and Rays right in front of the house. All in all a great week! There are a couple suggestions for the house before the busy season hits. One of the 2 dishwashers didn't work(we found out after we fully loaded it) so had to unload it and use the working one when that was done. The boardwalk to the beach had a lot of rusted nail heads sticking up so we had to be careful walking. They should put in the description that the walk to get to the beach is pretty tough and people with any kind of difficulty walking will have a hard time. There was a lot of little garbage on bottom level by the showers that could easily be picked up by housekeeping(ie: vape pen, cans, wrappers) and a lot of garbage in the shrubs. The upstairs jacuzzi tub sounded like it was going to explode when we turned the jets on so we weren't able to use them. It was fine as just a tub but would have been nicer with the Jets as advertised. The bottom level card table has a loose leg so we didn't use it as we were afraid it would fall apart. The only other thing is that The Pool lady came as a surprise to the house on Thursday with no warning. We weren't able to use the pool due to it being off season so it would have been nice to have a text that someone would be coming that day and not just start moving the loud pool chairs around when we were relaxing on the deck. It would be a nice touch for the owner to have beach chairs even if you took an extra deposit if being used when renting the house. The rental place we could have gotten a discount from was still closed for the off season. Otherwise it was a beautiful house and we would stay again if we come back to the OBX.

Specifically: - Dishwasher: we’ll have maintenance inspect and repair the non-working unit. - Boardwalk: we’ll address the rusted nails and discuss a repair or replacement with the owner. We’ll also update the listing to better describe the walk to the beach and note accessibility concerns. - Housekeeping/grounds: we’ve asked for extra attention to the lower level, showers and shrubs so trash and small items aren’t missed. - Upstairs jacuzzi jets and loose card table leg: maintenance will check and fix or replace as needed. - Pool service visit: I apologize for the surprise. This house was exactly what I was looking for when trying to book. I got this house for my groomsmen and their partner and almost everyone had their own room and we could've even fit more people. It was a great location to use for me to get ready for the wedding and great for pictures. There is a private walkway to the beach, a pool, and hot tub. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house with perfect location. It was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. We had a few maintenance issue on arrival ( top bunk bed rails very loose, washer not spinning) but maintenance was very responsive and fixed the issues upon request. Only downside, master bath in need, shower had lots of mold. Towels could use an upgrade and a few extra. With that being said, our family was very happy. Thank you for providing a beautiful gathering spot for our multi generational family vacation.

This house has it all! We were blown away by how immaculate it is, and the creature comforts it offers. The owners clearly love their house and try to make it a nice, comfortable stay for their guests. The deck furniture outside is ample and in great condition, there are clothes lines for hanging wet suits and towels, the grilling area is nice and clean, indoor furniture is NICE -- not at all run-down like so many other houses. I`ve vacationed in the OBX every year for 35 years, and this house is definitely a step above! We have already requested the same house for next year, because it`s totally worth it. Happy vacationing!

Great property! We had a great time. Had a couple of issues with Rokus, there was some backup in at least one of the showers - but that is par for the course for such a large house. Otherwise we found the property very clean, in good condition and had a wonderful time. Thank you for providing a property that allowed a family of 19 to build generational memories!

Another family vacation in the books! The house was as advertised. A great beach location with plenty of room for the 15 adults. Several places to get away from the crowd or entertain the night owls. We took full advantage of the pool and hot tub and some of us took a refreshing dip into the ocean. Well appointed kitchen. Main bedroom beds were comfortable but the bunk beds could use thicker mattresses. Plenty of parking for four+ vehicles.

This was a well-stocked, clean home. It has everything we could possibly need. It provided for a great family vacation with families coming from three states ... Sand castle building competition, white elephant bingo, family dinners and lots of board games were enjoyed here. Thank you for offering such a great home.
