SS53: Sunny Side

The location of the house was wonderful! Felt that it could have used some TLC though. House wasn't the cleanest when we arrived. Cracked paint.Dust on kitchen cabinets. Spider webs on bathroom light. Just needed some attention to detail. Shower door in master leaked. Pool was great but the deck around it needed some work. Had a couple splinters in feet from the old boards. Husband pounded in a few nails that had came loose so no one hurt thmeself. Locks on gates needed replaced. The only one that did work properly was the one at pool. We had difficulty with door locks. Maintenance man did come twice to work on them. Outside there were boards laying around the side of house that we felt as if could have been cleaned up. Just didn't look well kept. We did email the rental company about not having a coffee pot. They quickly had a new one at our door which we greatly appreciated! We rent a vacation home yearly but was just disappointed in the condition of this one. Again, loved the location and pool was great!

Wonderful location & ocean views; one of the best pools we have had. However, I felt the home itself was lacking for one at this level. Living area is relatively small; only one king; outside shower did not have header at all.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sunny Side! We had all of our family and friends make the trip out to Nags Head for our wedding week and it was so magical. The house was beautiful, the view of the ocean was unreal and the spacious rooms were perfect for us and all of our friends. We checked out some of the best restaurants like Blue Moon Cafe and Millers Seafood and had coffee every morning at Waveriders. The shopping was so much fun and we spent the majority of our day by the pool and going down the water slide. I would recommend this property to anyone and Village Realty was the best rental company I have dealt with concerning planning a trip to the Outer Banks. They make everything so effortless and smooth. We were sad to leave but will be back again for sure sometime next year!
