Back in the day when I was still a rental manager, I remembered those first few weeks in a brand new, just finished being built, house....since sometimes there are things that are just not caught until someone actually spends the night in the house or condo or villa.

I am sure I will miss something because there is a lot going on here in preparation for the 2015 season. First of all, THANK YOU to everyone who is planning on visiting our little bit of paradise this summer. We appreciate it.

My best friend came to visit the Outer Banks last weekend. She has been living in California for the past 40  years and just moved to Greenville, SC for her job. She had not been to the Outer Banks since the last time she visited me, five years ago.

Let's start with a some new place to eat, one of my favorite topics!  The owners of Blue Moon Grill in Nags Head have opened up a new restaurant in Pirate's Cove; Bluewater Grill. I went there about a week ago for lunch and it was as good as I heard it was from other people.
