"Absolutely some of the best customer service peeps I’ve ever dealt with! Angel set up our rental with Village realty the same day we were supposed to check in with Sun realty. There was an unavoidable issue with our scheduled rental! We didn’t have to do a thing other than check in! The transfer from Sun realty to Village realty was flawless thanks to CS rep Angel! The unit was clean, the master bed was very comfortable. The amount of space in a condo is limited but hey, you get what you pay for! It’s was quaint & had everything we needed for an extended stay. We checked in & out during odd times because of the distance some had to travel. That worked perfectly! Parking under the building was nice on rain days. I lived in KDH when the Croatan Surf Club use to be a favorite hangout (Quagmires) but is now a very nice set of condos. I would stay again with a limited amount of peeps 3 is perfect. Thanks again Village realty for handling the last min. changes!"

"We went for a Christmas get together . The house is very cozy and comfortable. It was well stocked and we were able to have a lovely Christmas Eve gathering. We are very pleased with the area and will most likely rent for a warmer time of year too."

"We recently (12/30 to 1/6/2024) stayed at Home Away in Kitty Hawk. The rental had a great view, being right on the ocean. The place was well-kept, nicely stocked and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. On issue should be brought to your attention. Significant mold was under the kitchen sink and in the downstairs vacuum cleaner."

"Location could not have been better! An end unit, oceanfront, 2nd floor condo w/many fantastic views. Some difficulties upon arrival including a beeping carbon monoxide alarm (needed battery replacement), no WiFi (we never did get that fixed) and multiple tries to reach management. Once we reached them they were very kind, friendly and helpful. (except for the WiFi.) We understood that being there just before Christmas meant there could be delays in service. As another reviewer mentioned for the same condo we had--it was a bit dated and kitchen bare bones, but clean, neat, and thankfully not crammed full of furniture and/or stuff. Overall, it was a truly wonderful, short getaway--a great bargain, beautiful, and relaxing--exactly what we needed and wanted. Would definitely do again!"

"Rented a house in Monterey Shores for a month (October to November). Rental process was easy and smooth, completely digital. The house (Swoop Inn) was in excellent condition, perfectly clean, and very well equipped. I was able to work remotely and stream to the large TV screen on the ground floor. The jacuzzi was well maintained and lovely. We rented during the off season, and thusly it was very very quiet. The gym facilities at Monterey shores had everything we needed for a workout Overall, the experience was 100% perfect! If I find myself in the area once more, I would definitely rent this lovely house again."

"The website is easy to follow and use, reservation process was easy to do, all communications were thorough and timely, the unit is just what we wanted (elevator, large balcony, W/D in unit, direct oceanfront, 2BR, 2BA ) at a decent price. The newly remodeled bathroom is A+. Thank you."

"Loved the location and cleanliness! With the exception of the Village Realty marketing group, the few calls that were made to the "contact us if you need us" # during our stay were handled professionally and efficiently. The people on the other end could not have been more friendly. WiFi was pretty poor much of the time. I know we were on an island out in the ocean but I think if each cottage had its own service as opposed to four units sharing it would have been a different story. Overall, extremely satisfied and would definitely stay here again."

"We stayed in WS08 / Whispering Sands, an oceanfront townhome in Nags Head. Lovely, cozy and with a jacuzzi in the master bedroom who needs a hot tub? Built solid - no bucking when those NE winds are howling! Two cars can be tucked in underneath so no sandblasting going on there. Can you tell we stayed in December? My favorite time for Nags Head 😉 Village Realty was easy to work with. I booked the place with two days notice! We observed a few things needing attention in this little house by the wild Atlantic but nothing that impacted our stay. I’m sure the Village staff will take care of things."

"Heaven on 7th was just that…Heaven. It’s the perfect location, the house was spotless, enough blankets, towels, dishes (that’s a bonus for our large family). The amenities are countless and accessible even during the off season. There’s the hot tub and personal golf area in the backyard. Very family friendly and Village Realty is very responsive to requests! We already decided we are going back to the same house next summer. Thank you for a great experience!"
