"My husband and I had plans for a week in the OBX for the annual Rod & Custom car show, with plans to extend our stay for an extra 4 days, when we found ourselves in a pickle, as my previous plans for an extended stay had fallen thru with another rental company. I stopped into the The Village office and was warmly greeted by Angel, and was then directly escorted in to meet Emily. I informed her of my needs and we were able to immediately come up with a rental home option for us. The house was perfect for our needs, except we still needed a place to park our car hauler. The Village staff was very accommodating, and offered to let us park the trailer in their parking lot for the extra 4 days, No charge, No problem. We were extremely relieved. With that said, we had an issue @ the house with the air conditioning in the house. Believe it or not in early May, it made it to high 70's, low 80 degrees. I text Village of the issue and received a timely response that the issue would be evaluated. It appeared to be a blower issue. The maintenance men were very responsive and agreed that it was a blower issue, and offered to bring a window unit for at least the master bedroom. They left and returned within the hour with the window unit. Very pleasant and apologetic for our predicament. I and my traveling group from Michigan, have rented from Village Reality in the past, and have always had a pleasant experience."

"Hilltop Haven in the Hammocks of Currituck Club was a beautiful place to spend 5 nights. Spacious, well stocked, clean. Village Realty came quickly to address raccoons in the attic (we grew to look forward to their little squeaks and hope they live a good life!) and a broken door keypad. Gorgeous sunset and moonrise from the third floor, I'd 100% rent this property again. Note that the club is busy in the off season with workers preparing for summer. Totally fine by us, but worth noting for others."
