"I am giving 4!/ stars bc I did not notify Village Realty of my concerns. So I can’t fault them on a response they never had the chance to give. But everything was beautiful about this place with the exception of cleanliness. It was definitely not cleaned even on a regular basis. There was sand everywhere inside and out and areas needing swept, vacuumed wiped down. Before we would come back we would def discuss this with them. Otherwise great place!"

"My fiancé and I rented a house - Carolina Sunshine - in September in Kill Devil Hills to celebrate his birthday with family and friends. Everything about the house was as advertised if not better.They could not have been more accommodating! "Village Realty is a great company. They are very responsive when an issue arises at the property. But I must say the property owners need to do a better job doing an upkeep of their properties. The house we stayed at was covered on the outside with spiders and webs and the pool area was dirty. The inside floors weren’t cleaned well and the kitchen had ants in it. Also the remotes didn’t work for the TVs."

"I have been renting homes in the OBX for many years, and Village Realty offers far and away the absolute BEST experience. We typically rent in the off season after labor day and find homes are kind of rough after a full season of use. However, Village Realty made sure anything we found that was broken was replaced immediately. Upon check-in we found our keyless entry lock was stuck and wouldn't open. Luckily, we arrived just as the cleaners were leaving and could enter the home, but they sent someone immediately to fix it. We also found a broken kitchen appliance in the home, and when we called to report it, we had a new one within an hour! I have never experienced that level of service with any other rental agency, and a Village Realty home will always be my first choice when vacationing in the Outer Banks."

The main thing that stood out was the cleanliness of the unit we rented. We also appreciated how seamless the check-in/check-out process was. "The Dragonfly met all of our vacation expectations! With its excellent location to the beach, ice cream shops and grocery stores, we enjoyed walking and biking to many destinations. Highlights from this house were breathtaking morning sunrises, the wonderful saltwater pool and relaxing hot tub. The floor plan was spacious. The house was tastefully decorated and comfortably accommodated our party of 8. We enjoyed the game room with pool table each evening for some fun family competition. Lastly, we brought our small dog, so the house being pet friendly was the icing on the cake for us! Beach Memories were definitely made in the Dragonfly."

"We used Village Realty few weeks back to rent JR369: Point Of Views. House was large, comfortable, well-appointed, clean and had great views of the water and sky from the 3rd fl. main deck. We spent lots of afternoons and evenings sitting on the lounge chairs looking out to the ocean and night sky. House was located across from Jockey's Ridge State Park and south of busy Nags Head strip, but close enough to great food and entertainment when needed. Kitchen was fully equipped which allowed us to prepare some great meals. Pool and hot tub were both in great condition and used often!. Would certainly look at this home again in future or other Village Realty rentals!"
