Shyers Luck is a luxurious, oceanfront condo located in the heart of Kill Devil Hills. This 2 bedroom unit offers a den with a Queen bed and has all the room you and your family need for a comfortable stay. Enjoy the views of the Atlantic Ocean from either of the 2 decks that offer a quiet place to relax as you enjoy your morning coffee or catch up on reading.

Need a change of pace from the surf and sand during your stay?... No problem. Guests have access to the Outer Banks YMCA, located in Nags Head. This 28,000 sq ft. facility offers activities for youth, teens and adults of all ages - perfect fun for the entire family! Enjoy the outdoor pool and water park, a 25-meter indoor pool and sauna, fitness center with state-of-the-art weight and cardio equipment, group exercise including spinning, interactive zone with video game-based equipment, massage therapy and hot tub, racquetball courts, skate park and full court gymnasium available for basketball

Non-Smoking. No Pets. Parking for 2 cars only. No boats, trailers or RV"s permitted on site. Any additional parking is welcome at our main office. Ask about our Military discount. CANCELATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED TO Village Realty in writing. In case of cancelation, all monies will be refunded less a $150 cancelation fee if you cancel 31 or more days prior to arrival. If you cancel 15-30 days prior to arrival, you will receive a 50% refund. Any cancelations within 14 days of arrival will not be subject to a refund.

I was soo impressed with this rental and am already making plans to return next year! The property had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay with our toddler and it was just steps away from the ocean. The pool is a short drive but we really didn’t care to use it because we spent all our time at the beach or doing other fun, close by activities!

Enjoyed having the beds made and extra toiletries in the bathroom. Very peaceful condominium complex. The front door needs adjusting so it locks/unlocks easier. Would definitely stay here again.

Simply Amazing

We had a wonderful time here. The condo is clean, well outfitted and comfortable. My main desire in choosing this location was to have a deck or balcony overlooking the beach. This was perfect. We enjoyed morning sunrises and even had the gift of dolphins swimming by close to the beach at sunrise. Spectacular! Would gladly stay here again in the future.

My daughter and I loved the condo. We were right on the beach, we had a covered porch with comfortable furniture to sit on and enjoy the view when we were not on the beach. We enjoyed eating breakfast at the dining table with the view of the beach. Eveb thiugh there was no elevator, we only had to walk up one flight of stairs to get to the condo. There is a shower we rinsed off at when we came back from the beach, beach access path did not have a huge hill or steps to walk up, etc. Great location in Kitty Hawk!

Unit is clean and feel comfortable. Some minor updates from the owners would help (primary shower is for very short people- only, lack of space for food, front door sticks, hose leak, older mattresses), but again, doesn't impact the stay. You can tell the owner's visit often and care for the unit well. The view is gorgeous and the unit is well maintained. The overall property is well taken care of but there are some people across the street who use it as a cut through. The beach access is easy since there is no large dune to walk up and down. Having a hose off the back door makes for an easy end of beach day clean up. The kitchen had everything we needed, and there were plenty of games to play together at night as a family. We will be returning.

The condo was perfect. I only have one complaint & that's the steps down the oceanside of the bldg. While they are wonderful for beach access, they block the views of the beach in both directions.

Pool

I think the information about the pool needs to be more specific. The unit itself did not have a pool. In order to go to the pool you would have to drive a couple of miles and go to the YMCA. Not something I would do.

Have stayed at many condos over the last several years and this has been by far the best in all ways. Very clean, insect free, kitchen well stocked and felt like home! Great access to beach and outside activities and restaurants.

View and property is exactly as advertised. We had 2 small problems during our stay and they were handled fast and without any issue. I would have no issue returning with my family to any of their properties. I highly recommend them!

Ocean front and Great View

April 2019 Stay

What a wonderful place to enjoy the sunrises, tides, waves crashing and all the beaches have to offer! We saw dolphins every day from the decks. So nice to be yards from the beach! Added bonus, excellent bar/grille Goombay’s across the street.

March 2019 Stay

Asked for a location with ocean view. Shyer Luck fit the bill. Fell asleep every night to the sound of the ocean and watch the sunrise on the ocean every morning. Beach right off the back deck. Enjoyed every minute. Condo was well done with recent update. Only complaint was the tub in master bedroom. Would have been more useful if it had bed updated with a walk in shower.
