A nice spot for the family! We appreciated the flexibly and allowance of dogs. The place was clean and the outdoor shower was wonderful !

The place was clean and beautiful and a great home base for all the activities we wanted to do.
That said, my next points are nitpicky. Considering the price we paid, and the fact this is a rental company and not a home, it feels rather weird that simple condiments like salt and pepper weren't there.
The beds, very clean, but were far from comfortable. We had to put the spare blanket down under us for it to feel somewhat soft.
The outdoor shower, very useful for returns from the beach to clean off excess sand, covered in spiderwebs.
The hammock downstairs is a nice bonus, but the sandpit was filled with leaves.
Overall, the experience was good, but the amount paid was expecting a little bit more.

Great place, pictures represent it well. Very clean. Great location, we don’t mind not being on the ocean side, we have been to OBX many times and never felt like we missed something not being on the ocean side. One recommendation would be I wish the home was better stocked. There wasn’t any body wash or shampoo, no detergent and no beach towels. Olive oil, salt and pepper are always good to have on hand too. Easy things to pick up though. Property and deck were nice.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Plenty of room and everything we needed for the 2 of us and our dog! The location was perfect as it was very close to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants. We plan on coming back again ?

Great location with walkable restaurants, dock was nearby. Neighborhood was incredibly quiet and neighbors were all nice. Home was clean and well-stocked with pots, pans, and utensils.

As Promised, great beach house

We enjoyed our stay. The two bedrooms and bath were clean and nicely furnished. Entry was super easy. The location was an easy walk to the beach. (Crossing the highway was easy with the convenient traffic light on 5th st.)

What a great place to relax! The porch, tucked behind a beautiful live oak and festooned with twinkling lights, is the perfect place for an evening drink. The open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, and decor are simple and, well, SERENE. The outdoor shower is a huge bonus! Sunset over the Sound is a 10 minute walk west, and the beach is a 10 minute walk east. And all of my activities - seeing wild ponies, light houses, art galleries, the Wright Brothers Museum, hang gliding on the dunes, shopping and great restaurants - were so close by. I can`t wait to go back again to relax and recharge. Highly recommend this little gem.

Enjoyed my stay...very relaxing and comfortable place to unwind and enjoy the outer banks. Sunset is a short walk and absolutely stunning. House is everything you want in a rental. Loved every moment spent at Soundside Serenity....you will too!!!
