HISA22: Salvo 22

Salvo 22 is a unique, updated beach house in Salvo situated on the oceanside of Hatteras Colony, just a short walk to the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. From the expansive sun deck to the ground level entertainment area with fire pit, there are plenty of opportunities for spending quality time with family and friends. When it's time to hit the beach, use the Tarheel Court path and boardwalk for convenient access. Load up the beach cart to easily transport your coolers, toys and gear for a full day of sun, sand and surf.

Back at the house, the interior has been completely remodeled and furnished with vacationers in mind. The top level consists of an open-concept great room with vaulted ceilings, abundant natural light, and bamboo hardwood flooring throughout. After a day at the beach, come home and relax in the comfortably furnished living area with gas fireplace and a large sectional sleeper sofa. The chef in your group will appreciate the renovated kitchen boasting quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances, including a Bosch dishwasher.

All three bedrooms are located on the mid-level, including the primary king suite. This luxurious retreat features deck access and a spa-like private bath that includes a double vanity with marble countertops and a spacious, tiled walk-in shower. Two additional bedrooms share an updated Jack-and-Jill bath. Bed and bath linens are always included at no extra charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival.

Salvo 22 is located in Hatteras Colony on the northern end of Salvo, where the pristine beaches are wide and uncrowded. While the location is ideal for guests looking for a remote and natural setting, it's still within a mile radius from watersports, surf shops, a market and deli, take-out options, ice cream and the popular Watermen's Bar and Grill. Slightly farther north you'll find even more dining and shopping options in the town of Rodanthe. Be sure to set aside a day for a trip to Cape Hatteras, where you can climb the lighthouse, go driving on the beach, or hop on a ferry to Ocracoke.
