HIAV11: Tangerine Dream

Tangerine Dream is a luxurious lakefront home in the exclusive Kinnakeet Shores community. This newly renovated, tastefully decorated beach house is spacious and well-equipped, ideal for multiple or extended families. Everyone in your group will enjoy a variety of amenities, including a private pool, hot tub, rec room, private dock, and access to resort amenities. Dogs are welcome at Tangerine Dream, so your four-legged companions can join you on the pet-friendly beaches of Avon.

After a day at the beach, come home and relax in the comfortably furnished, two-story living area with electric fireplace, hardwood floors and an abundance of natural light. The open-concept layout includes access to an expansive sun deck overlooking the pool area and lake. Back inside, the spacious kitchen offers plenty of prep space, stainless steel appliances, and a peninsula with bar seating. Between the main dining area plus a breakfast nook, there's plenty of room for everyone to sit down and enjoy meals together. A primary suite is located just off the living area featuring a king bed, deck access, and a private bath with dual vanity, soaking tub and walk-in shower.

Upstairs, you'll find four additional bedrooms, including the second king ensuite. There's also a dedicated office, perfect for catching up with work or school remotely. The ground level consists of a spacious rec room with kitchenette that can serve as a second living area. It leads out to a covered deck with access to the private pool, which can be heated during certain Spring and Fall months - ideal for off-season getaways. The garage has been transformed into a rec room with billiard table and arcade games for around-the-clock indoor entertainment. A third king ensuite is also located on this level.

Kinnakeet Shores provides guests with access to an Olympic-sized community pool (plus a kiddie pool) and tennis courts, as well as convenient beach and sound access. Avon is considered by many to be the center of Hatteras Island, home to more businesses than some of the neighboring villages. Despite this, Avon remains a quaint coastal town with the main attraction still being the unspoiled beaches. Tangerine Dream is just a three-minute drive from the Avon Fishing Pier and Food Lion, as well as a variety of locally owned boutiques, surf shops, and dining options.
