We loved our stay! Barefoot bliss was gorgeous and well updated inside! We loved that you could park at the pool and go to the beach from there. Village Reality was great and made sure we had everything needed. We will be using them again soon!

Loved the house. Very well designed, on-trend interior that looked & felt brand new. Many smart details not normally found in rentals like this. Perfect size for our group, convenient location and a great covered deck. An extra bonus was that Village Beach Club was open for our entire stay 9/5-9/12/23.

The only negative comments were the A/C Thermostat we had some issues getting the house cooled down. Also, we were only provided with one (1) dishtowel. Otherwise, the house is awesome well stocked with kitchen equipment, games, the latest technology. Beautifully decorated and a pretty good/quiet location. The yard is wonderful for kids and dogs. Outdoor shower was terrific and water pressure awesome. We were very happy that there was also beach equipment to supplement the items we brought. We used the chairs & umbrella as well as the beach cup holders. Village Realty has a terrific team and the communication very helpful and timely.

It is the little touches that made this rental a nice stay. First, everyone needs a million outlets nowadays. Knowing this is a remodeled older home the owners were clever enough to put power strips with usb ports on the side of the nightstands and end tables. Love the ceiling fan remote holders, the towel/hat racks on the backs of all of the doors, full length mirrors in each room, dimmer switches on the lights, keypad door lock Roku on all of the tvs, closet full of beach stuff, a hammock swing, outdoor dining with shades and fan and fenced in back yard with fire pit! Every inch of space was thought out and I never felt cramped or uncomfortable. The rooms had lots of storage areas and the carpets were nice in all of the bedrooms. The decor is simple but nice and the overall aesthetic is beach-modern. The location is awesome! Close to the ocean, groceries, restaurants, beach access… you name it. For the price, with dogs allowed and during 4th of July week, it felt like a steal. And it was very clean to boot. This place is perfect for a family of 5/6 or two small families. I’d definitely stay here again. And check out The Spot at the top of the road. So good!

Barefoot bliss was just that! It was bliss. This was our 2nd time staying here and we love the locations the cleanliness of everything and the close vicinity to the beach and park. We had an issue getting into the house with our code and I called the office and they quickly fixed it for us.

I love this property!!! It is always clean, inviting, has all the amenities a family wants and is in the perfect location for a quiet and peaceful time at the OBX. I love the face that linens are provided, the sheltered porch for eating outside or entertaining and the fenced yard is perfect for my Chihuahua. hahaha (she cannot escape) Village Realty is perfect to work with, if anything goes wrong, they do answer the phone, not an answering machine, we`ll call you back never to be heard from again. I have dealt with that with other realty companies. In my book, after coming to the OBX for over 40 years, Village Realty is the best!!

This property is centrally located and easy to assess. It is a short drive to the beach (could walk if you want) and many local attractions. The property has everything you needs the kitchen is great. There is a grill and fire pit that we enjoyed. Small fenced yard is nice. Beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!!!!

Loved the location and the house was super cute and clean. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen was great with everything you needed to prepare meals. Outdoor grill and fire pit were an added bonus. Loved the small fenced yard and huge covered deck. Would definitely stay here again.
