Money In The Banks is a well-maintained soundfront townhome in the charming Portside community of Duck. Situated right on the Currituck Sound, guests can enjoy unobstructed water views and incredible sunsets from two west-facing decks, the great room and primary bedroom. When you're not at the beach, lounge by the outdoor community pool or work up a sweat on the tennis court, both just steps away from your front door. Best of all, you'll have direct access to the sound for fishing, crabbing and launching kayaks or SUP's.

After a day of fun in the sun, come home and relax in the open-concept living area with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and a wall of west-facing windows that take full advantage of the water view. A sliding door leads out to a soundfront sun deck with outdoor seating and retractable awning. When you're not dining out, prepare meals in the kitchen where you can still enjoy a fabulous sound view while cooking. Upgrades include stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The first of three bedrooms is conveniently located on the main level, along with a full bath. Upstairs, the primary bedroom offers the same incredible water view and deck access as the living area. A second full bath and a third bedroom can easily accommodate family and friends.

A multi-use path that runs through town is perfect for walking, jogging and biking. Set aside a day or two to experience downtown Duck, where you can browse a variety of eclectic, locally-owned boutiques, galleries and eateries. Take a stroll down the boardwalk through the Waterfront Shops for unique shopping and dining experiences with a fabulous view. The Town of Duck amphitheater hosts yoga classes, concerts, children's activities and annual events including the Fourth of July Parade and Duck Jazz Festival.

"Just a great location on north side of Duck and sound front. Well cared for property, well appointed, and very comfortable. Love the location and the views and the access to northern and southern beach areas in addition to Duck."

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Village Realty is happy to hear that you have enjoyed your stay. We strive to provide an amazing vacation experience, that you and your family will look back onto for years to come. Off season is a wonderful time of the year to explore the outer banks. The shops, beaches and restaurants are certainly slower paced, and you the guest are able to enjoy the sights at leisure. We will be happy to help you with your next vacation booking and look forward to seeing you again. Safe travels! MH

"The house was lovely. The view of the Sound made for a relaxing experience. The homeowner had everything labeled and easy to find. The home had everything needed for a great stay. My only criticism is about the price. With the excessive cleaning fee and other costs, it came to over $1,500.00 for a 3 night stay. That seems quite high for a home that is not in a beach neighborhood. Also, Village did not respond via the Air B and B app, but were easy to reach on the phone."
