Great place for a couple’s getaway. Beautiful view.

Best part was the view of the sound and Roanoke Island from the back deck. House has way too many wall to wall mirrors which makes it feel very dated. Vanities and toilets in bathrooms are very low. Furniture was a 6 in comfort level. Hot tub outside master bedroom was a nice amenity.

We enjoyed our long weekend. Loved sitting out on deck watching the sunset before relaxing in hot tub every evening. We loved the peace and quiet of this location yet close to grocery as needed.

We really enjoyed our stay! The view was amazing. The home was very clean and comfortable. The home had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates and cookware. The hot tub was incredible! A great way to decompress after a full day out. It was so nice to be out under the stars. Thank you again for everything. Just a note that if you need a hair dryer, I was unable to find one. But hey...my hair was happy to dry naturally, lol.

We enjoyed our time at Marsh Links this past Memorial Day weekend, The location on the golf course is quiet and centrally located near all of our favorite places on OBX. Marsh Links also has a pretty decent view of the sound even though it isn't "on" the sound. Thanks!

This was a dream house in a perfectly quiet and relaxed neighborhood. Wonderful location right at the end of the cul de sac. We did need to call the property manager to have them remotely activate our door code, after our checkin time and we had received the code. But they were quick to respond and got us in right away. Highly recommend staying here, and we will definitely aim to rent this vacation home again.

Wonderful house in a beautiful location. We enjoyed our coffee in the morning over looking the sound. Enjoyed wine in the evenings in the hot tub. The kitchen was well equipped. Loved that the house didn’t have carpet aside from the carpet on the steps which made it very quiet when traveling up to kitchen while others were still sleeping. Best insulation of any home I have ever stayed. My husband sleeps very lightly. He heard nothing from outside or when we got up in the morning. My child and husband have difficulties with allergies when traveling. They had no problems in this home as it was very clean. We would definitely stay again. The house was located near many activities so we didn’t spend a lot of time driving. Of note during your stay definitely check out JKs Restaurant best food on the beach. Magnet on refrigerator helped us find this jewel of a restaurant.

Very responsive and helpful host. It’s in a sweet spot with an unbelievable view of sunsets from the porch or hot tub. It’s a 3-5 minute drive from the beach and very close to nice restaurants and stores. Would definitely go back.

This was a perfect vacation rental for our family! The community pool was fun for the kids and adults alike. I recommend this property if you want a place with spectacular views and convenient access to a beautiful beach, restaurants and fun in the sun. It is also very peaceful!

My husband and I, along with another couple enjoyed our stay at the Salty Unicorn. It was clean, well equipped, comfortable and a short walk to the beach. I highly recommend this property to others and would stay again when we are in the area!

We were looking for a simple property to go and spend a few days at the Outer Banks before Christmas hustle and bustle. Back Porch sound views, spacious living area and hot tub with sound views were exactly what we wanted before Christmas came. Lots of local restaurants, cooked in kitchen, shopped at outlets. Wonderful overall experience in a quiet golf course neighborhood.
