"We just finished a week at Maxwell House and really enjoyed our stay. The property was very clean on checkin, every space was larger than they appear on the website photos, and everything was perfect on every level. The decor was very tasteful and modern while still retaining a good OBX beach house feel. The walk to the Baltic St access was quick, as well as walks to Food Lion, The Spot, and Booty Treats. 🙂 All of the guests reported that their rooms and bed were comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was very complete, but the lack of ice maker and available cutting boards came up every day so the hosts may want to consider these additions for future years. The decking and hot tub were great, as well as the available tables and chairs for outside sitting and eating. Parking was sufficient for the 4 cars in our group. We would definitely consider Maxwell`s House again for future stays."

"My friend and I had a wonderful weeks vacation here. The home is well maintained and very clean with a wonderful open floor plan. It is in a quiet community with an easy 2 block walk to the beach. There were screens only on a sliding door and one window. This provided a cross breeze but would have enjoyed being able to open more windows and not use the air conditioning. A lovely home."
