"Great location for a first timer to the OBX!! Very comfortable and roomy.
Only a few minor negatives… hot water was only warm, so showering and bathing were not as pleasant as we prefer. Smoke detector in hallway was hanging off the wall. We assumed it was working, but this was something the cleaning crew should have fixed. Towels provided did the job, but were thin and cheap. The bottom sheet on the king bed was put on incorrectly. Again, something the cleaning crew should have noticed while making the bed. There was also traces of food in the kitchen sink, so clearly it was not throughly cleaned.
On the upside, the bathrooms were clean, large kitchen and appliances sparkling, and it was quite homey!!
We’d book this place again and highly recommend for others to stay there!

"This was a Covid get away or working vacation with a few scattered days off and a two week booking at that. This is bar none, one of the best appointed and well equipped places we have stayed in our years coming here. Every comfort of home, spacious rooms and well decorated and prime KDH location. We will certainly return once again. Village is one of the better rental groups we have used in our 29 years of vacations......for sure we will be lining them up for #30 next year.Only request for the building....add a fish cleaning station. Caught a bunch and had to clean them in kitchen."
