SN40: Dream Weaver

We had a great time at Dream Weaver but felt that we could've had a better time if things were a bit more updated. The sofa's arm was broken when we arrived and the chairs on the decks could have been a bit more updated. 2 chairs fell apart and 1 we could tighten ourselves and the other a maintenance person fixed, but having grandparents there it could've been a disaster. There weren't enough forks/silverware for eating at the house for a meal without having to use plastic ware. Plenty of dishes, but silverware needs to be added. There were no cookie sheets to heat things up on (old pizza pan). Since COVID -19 was a part of vacation and NC numbers were increasing, we cooked every meal at the house. The dishwasher pull out tray was missing the front 2 wheels and made it VERY DIFFICULT to wash the dishes. It was a pain to lift up the tray EVERY time to do dishes. We did put in a request for that. Hopefully someone get the benefit of that since we didn't. There were only 3 loungers at the pool and 1 rocking chair. Plastic Adirondack chairs would've been great to have for folks who wanted to be at the pool but not in it and visit with the family. The chairs would be nice on all of the decks really. Not enough outdoor seating. Also, we were glad to have brought a hammer since we had to pound down about 30+ nails that were sticking up for someone to trip on. The 2nd level deck in the back that is "screened", needs a replacement screen on one section. It also has no chairs so not sure why it's even there other than to look out. The putting green should be revamped and a canopy or something with a table & chairs would be amazing to have since the lower level has a refrigerator and it would be easy to have a lunch down there with the family. The house was very convenient to the beach. There was only 1 handicapped bathroom which made it a bit inconvenient for our nephew (we had to go up & down the elevator each time) -- with a few updates like painting/staining the deck and some furniture updates it has potential. The location at South Nags Head is great to get away from the hustle & bustle. Village Realty did respond to our requests very promptly and we were very appreciative about that. We had a great time in spite of the items mentioned above. Make sure to bring plastic containers for leftovers because there isn't any small containers to hold anything. We had to consolidate some of the dishes, etc. to use some of the cabinets for storing food since things were spread all over. It's nice when things are open & available to store your groceries once you've unpacked.

Arrived on Sunday only to have to be mandatorily evacuated on Tuesday due to Hurricane Dorian. First time at the house and we did like it while we were there. The only downside was the mosquitoes in the water pit near the road.

The house was perfect for our family. We had a issue with the wifi at first was not working but with one phone call someone was there to fix it that day. My only complaints are the vents could be taken down and cleaned, some of the shower liners replaced and maybe a broom taken to the porches to remove the spider webs before guests arrive. It was a great vacation!

Wonderful week! House was really nice. Lots of space with something for everyone. Nice easy walk to beach. My family have chosen OBX for vacation for 24 years and counting. Only thing I would change is the kitchen has limited cooking pans and no containers for leftovers. Also we bought our own pool items like rafts, ect. This house comes with no beach items either. First house we have stayed at that didnt have a lot of those items. We had an issue with smoke detector and upstairs door. Sent in the fix order. We received call within a couple of minutes. Maintenance was there within 30 mins. Really awesome to work with. Great job village realty!!! Thank you

My family and I have been coming to this vacation house for 8 years. We have a great time every time we come. This year I must say we were happy with all the upgrades the owner made. In the years passed whenever we had a problem village realty fixed right away. This house has everything we need and the heated pool is a bonus. Thank you we had a great time ,and hope to come back next year .

We so enjoyed our stay at Dream Weaver. we had a few problems with the house but by Wednesday everything we needed done had been fixed. We don't understand why people don't report problems so the next family has to deal with fixing things. it was nice to have the pool heater fixed, both refrigerators and ice maker upstairs fixed. The screen door fixed. There is two lights out in the kitchen
We made do because we hated to ask to have more fixed. The kitchen door does not lock. Thanks for the quick fixes.

Perfect location! Easy walk to the beach!

Beautiful week at Dream Weaver! Four houses to the beach and a wonderful swimming pool and jacuzzi. Sunrise in the front of the house and sunset at the back of the house. Awesome to have both! To top it off, I left my jewelry there and it was found and on it's way back to me! Village Reality should be proud to have such honest employees! I can't say enough about your staff. I am so happy to have my sentimental jewelry prices returned! I will always choose Village Reality from now on! Thank you again from the bottom of my heart.

Could not have asked for a better vacation retreat. Dream Weaver was all we needed for a relaxing OBX week. Location,location, location...we enjoy being in South Nags Head close to Fish Heads,Sam and Omie's, and Owens restaurants. The beach is clean and open. The traffic is quieter than KDH and KH . The sun shines brighter at SN40!!

Great house.

Had an amazing week enjoying the beautiful weather, beach, pool, hot tub and family/friends. We loved exploring the Bodie Lighthouse, going for moring bike rides or jogs on the path, eating at Owens, Sugar Creek, Pamlico Jacks and the new Fresh Market was a nice surprise :) Fat Boyz ice cream didn't disappoint and we love having Holy Trinity just around the corner for services. Beautiful sunrises on the ocean and sunsets on the sound. The house was nicely appointed and Village Realty was responsive to our requests. Over all a great vacation!

We had a great time mostly on the beach and un the pool. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The app made our stay sinple. Contacting youand finding info could not have been easier. Thanks.
