MB11: Sweet Caroline's

We loved our stay at MB11 Sweet Caroline! It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and our small dog. The house was clean upon arrival and we were even able to check in about an hour early as the home was ready. The house was stocked with all of the kitchen equipment you would need for cooking. I loved how the master bedroom was essentially on it's own floor with easy access to the hot tub. The house would be spacious enough for two small families or a family with in-laws to stay in, though I do think it could get cramped. My kids loved having their own space. The location was decent as well. Harris Teeter was just under 2 miles away. It took about 7-10 minutes to get up to the main shopping center in town and then about 15 minutes or so to get to the 4x4 beach with the horses. It was also about 10-15 minutes from Duck. The amenities offered by the Currituck Club were nice, though we didn't really use them much. There was one small pool within walking distance from the house and then the fitness center was about 1.5 miles away. We loved taking evening walks to the Sunset bridge to watch the sun go down. It was about a 10 minute walk. The only drawback to staying here is that the public beach access gets very crowded and it's difficult to find parking. There is a free shuttle offered, but we preferred to take our vehicle. We would have to walk about 1/2 mile up the beach to get a place to sit away from others. If you set up at the bottom of the steps, people will be right on top of you. We had a parking permit for the 4x4 beach so we did that most days. Overall, I would stay in this location again and I would stay at this house again.

A relaxing week long stay in this nice cozy house w/ all the convenience you would need. Kitchen stocked w/ most appliances you need. Trolley stop is just right in front of the house . Outdoor shower , w/ gas and charcoal grills, and of course the hot tub. Currituck club amenities were also wonderful was able to utilize the fitness center, pool right by it(much better than the other one in the development) , basketball courts, tennis court and volleyball were all great. The convenience of having Harris Teeter a short 7 minute drive was a big plus and a seafood market 3 minute drive made the food shopping really convenient.Village realty also is very responsive from the beginning to the end the process was seamless. Would keep repeating with them.

Spent 7 glorious days of rest and relaxation in this lovely home. Corolla is just far enough away from the action but close enough to restaurants, attractions, and shopping to make it convenient too. The 3 bedrooms are thoughtfully laid out to allow a family to spend time together but still offer solitude and quiet when someone has an urge for a vacation nap. The open living area opens to an expansive tree-lined yard with western exposure - beautiful sunsets here. The neighborhood offers every amenity you expect in a gated resort community - pools, tennis, fitness area, walking/bike paths. A beautiful sandy beach is a five minute walk from this home and offers restrooms and community trolley transportation in the Summer season. The home was absolutely spotless upon check-in and Village Realty made the entire rental process a breeze. They maintain an office on-site and their staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this home for couples, families, or anyone wanting to get away from it all but still have access to amenities.

Glory Daze was amazing. The home was perfect. clean, organized, multi functional, in the center of all you would want and need for a relaxing vacation in the heart of the best of the outer banks. A walk or a golf cart ride to the multiple pools, beach, liquor store and ducks donuts. :) I could not ask for a better spot. the back deck was great for the dog as well as entertaining and relaxing in the hot tub. the house sleeps the family and then some and felt like home. you will not find a spot like this for the price. This is our new annual family vacation for the family Thank you and book NOW....

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a great comfortable home, nice setup to have privacy and the owners we very accommodating. It was great being near the beach and many attractions. We will be returning in the future

We had a great stay at Glory Daze. The home was even better than we expected -Everything was impeccably clean when we arrived with towels on every bed for use. With two bedrooms on the first floor and one on the second there was plenty of room for a large party.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need.
The living room was very spacious and the wall of windows allowed the sun to shine in.
Location was great, close proximity to pool and beach.The trolley stop was right across the street.
Jacuzzi tub and outdoor shower were nice surprises!
We look forward to returning to Glory Daze.
