M859: Flip Flops

We had 6 adults and 3 kids stay here and the layout of the house was perfect for providing privacy with 2 bedrooms with their own bathrooms (two bed rooms share one jack and jill bathroom between them) and the outdoor shower! It was a short, pleasant drive to the beach (Sailfish parking in Whalehead) could be a short walk if county had a pathway across 12 north to Whalehead. We enjoyed the clean, clean, beach house, kitchen had everything needed including a drip coffee maker or k-cup machine. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub too, and the outdoor speakers and the community sound pier for sunsets. This family would highly recommend this beach vacation rental.

This home was perfect for our family of four. The house was thoroughly clean, and stocked with arrival survival items such as trash bags, paper towels, tp, soap etc. Beds were already made, AC on to a comfortable setting, so settling in was super quick and easy. Pool and hot tub nice and clean, and extra parking for four vehicles if needed. The kitchen was well stocked and excellent beachy decore. Outside furniture excellent from the pool to the deck. Back deck needs a small bit of TLC, BUT it's safe for sure. We loved the space and location and how attentive the realty company was in management. Can't recommend FLIP-FLOPS it highly enough! Yes, comments about the community pier a short walk away with breath taking sunsets, WOW!

My friends and I have been coming to Corolla for many years. Your house is the most thoughtfully designed and outfitted that we've come across. We appreciated everything from full size fridge, ceiling fans to compliment the AC, plenty of bathrooms and yes the outdoor shower, beach favorite. The fit, finish and materials are all first-rate.We brought much of our own food knowing how crowded Corolla and Duck was, reservations and short staffing! Therefore, we really appreciated the plentiful assortment of kitchen tools, glassware, cutlery and appliances. These things usually accumulate over the years, but your house was fully equipped and was a welcome surprise! Want to compliment you on the wonderful neighborhood of Monteray Shores. This is our first time on sound side. We went on almost daily walks and appreciated the shady areas we never had on the ocean side, daily treks to the 4WD beach! Love the two large oak trees on property too. An extremely comfortable place to stay made a much-appreciated break from the COVID-19 monotony. Again, thank you for opening your new house to us and, thankfully, we have been able to reserve for 2022 ! We are SO looking forward to another wonderful experience in your home! Thank you for a wonderful beach week. Your place was spacious, clean and well appointed. We enjoyed your hot tub and well maintained pool. Your kitchen was well stocked and everything we were looking for was supplied. The bedrooms were large and the fact that each had a bathroom was really nice. The laundry room was definitely a plus. It made it so convenient to take in our beach stuff and simply place it in the washer without hauling it through the house. You thought of everything down to board games! A place we would definitely return to. Thanks again!

VR & owners worked out a great rate for a two week getaway to FlipFlops. Home safe, clean and we felt secure in Corolla and the home. Very clean home, internet running well, owner purchased an extender for full coverage out back, as kids did virtual learning, then the pool, beach, hot tub. Positively an awesome call being at Flips-Flops in September-don't tell!! Very good mental and physical experience getaway, price perfect. Sunsets at community pier spectacular! Thanks FlipFlops!!

Second year staying at FlipFlops. Enjoy this beach home. Its a beach cottage perfect for 6 and very clean. No complaints and it fit our family perfectly. Secluded backyard with the hot tub and pool, outdoor speakers a nice touch. Night time was awesome for great deck for star gazing, saw many shooting stars. Community pier(s) the best for fishing, crabbing and sunsets. Safe, and quite neighborhood, we enjoyed Sailfish Street parking and the beach access, awesome and focused Corolla Beach Patrol. Overall the home was fantastic with TVs. Our kids loved the pool and we loved the hot tub. Quiet neighborhood. Perfect home!! Thank you Flip-Flops!

Family of 4 adults and 3 children, were very comfortable and safe in this home. It was very cozy (beachy) and had all the amenities we needed i.e private pool area and hot tub, great neighborhood too. Loved everything about the home, CLEANLINESS, updated kitchen, and it had all the comforts of a beach vacation home. Bonus was the Monteray Shores pier just around the corner on the sound, AWESOME SUNSETS!! Great stay, Great week, Great place:) Thank-you Flip-Flops!

We love Flip-Flops!! Super location in Monteray Shores and SHOPPING! Great development for bike rides and walks to the sound pier for sunsets. Short drive to beach, used Sailfish parking and beach access, SAFE! Super clean house that is very nicely decorated in a cute beach theme. Beds super comfortable. Loved the private pool - the water was great! The beach was uncrowded and we loved seeing the ghost crabs along the sand. Hope to stay again next year, year after, year after. Flip-Flops is a good beach house.

This house was a good size for our group of 7 adults and one child, liked that all bedrooms had double bed or larger and that there are lots of bathrooms. We enjoyed the pool every day after biking to the beach, and shops are close enough to bike to as well. We do lots of cooking and the kitchen is set up well for that - however be prepared to bring everything, even charcoal and matches if you want to grill. Sleeps 8 but seating only for 6 in dining room. Love the wrap around deck and the patio table and chairs - which also only seats 6 and no umbrella so we couldn't eat outside : ( The adirondack chairs in front are comfy and a great place for morning coffee or star-gazing, just wish there were more than 4! Alas we had some minor issues with the a/c also, but it wasn't unbearable and Village Realty brought a fan for one of the bedrooms that doesn't have a ceiling fan which was much appreciated. The location is great in our book as we love Corolla, Monteray Shores & proximity to the beach, and being near shops and restaurants - yet it's quiet and private at the house. We also enjoyed the short walk to one of the piers. A great thing about this house is that it's rented by Village Realty - they make the whole process painless and are very responsive to all requests!

Nice beach cottage for family needs!! Pool perfect for privacy and outside speakers a nice touch. House well decorated, nice king size bed too. Clubhouse with fitness center a very nice touch. Nice quiet street, we enjoyed many walks over to the sound piers for sunsets. We enjoyed Fip-Flops, enjoyed the Corolla area and the safe Monteray Shores. Thanks Flip-Flops!

We had an amazing time the house was well-equipped and in good shape very clean. We encountered a problem with the air conditioning this and had to have someone come and look at it twice when it stopped working. Other than that everything else was fine. Definitely go back again.

We had an amazing stay at Flip Flops! This home is decorated wonderfully, the location is convenient to everything, and we LOVED enjoying the hot tub! The patio table was an excellent place to enjoy breakfast while listing to the Jimmy Buffet CD that we found in the collection of DVDs. May a trip to the Whalehead Club part of your experience if you have never been, it's beautiful!
