Loved the house we picked! A few things needed repair when we got the village realty responded promptly!

The layout of the house is perfectly suited for a rental and housing a variety of couples/families. The pool was a great attraction for the kids. Keep an eye on the water level though, evaporation seems to deplete the levels. But there is a hosed all set up and easy to operate to make sure the water does not get too low. The hot tub gets an A+! As other reviewers mentioned, the TV is difficult to operate, but not the rentals fault. Only Direct TV is available on the island and everything else is (slow) WiFi based because cables cannot be run to the island (thank you to the nice manager at a restaurant who explained this to us)! Check-in and check-out was easy. The views from this house are amazing.. the best in this community, for sure! Watch the railing on the 2nd floor balcony off the dining area.. it is very lose and we felt uncomfortable allowing the little kids out there. Overall we had a great trip!

Nicely appointed house in currituck. House TV did not work. Gas grill uses the tank so remove the hose to house. Driveway very steep and narrow fits 2 cars only. Needs updating

Amazing house with wonderful views of the ocean and sound. Everything was as advertised--- plus! We were surprised to find a closet full of pool toys, 2 bikes in the garage, beach chairs, games, videos, books, etc. It was way more than we expected. Loved the rockers and chairs on the porches. Pool was fabulous. Very happy with our stay and would highly recommend.

Wonderful house with a fantastic view of the ocean! Getting up early every morning to see the sunrise made this house perfect! Plus, we were able to see a variety of firework shows in all different directions on the 4th!! Definitely recommend this house!! There were a few minor issues that should be addressed, however. First, several of the decking floor boards for the loft balcony are loose and need fastened or possibly replaced. Secondly, the lights in the pool do not work. Finally, the instructions for the gas grill need to be updated. The grill had an actual propane tank and is no longer hooked to the hose that is coming from the house even though there still seems to be gas there when you open the valve. This could be a potentially dangerous situation if someone opens the valve as instructed and then attempts to light the grill while gas is escaping from that hose. Overall, despite those few issues, we had an enjoyable stay and would consider renting this house again!

This was our 11th consecutive stay at a Village Realty rental in the Currituck Club, and was an excellent week as usual. Check-in and Check-out were a breeze with the new mobile app and use of an electronic door code. The house was very clean at check-in and had a great ocean view. Our only complaints were that the house was not well stocked in terms of kitchen items (e.g missing or dull utensils and outdated/semi-functional appliances), had a fairly limited tv package (e.g no sports channels and a movie collection that included mostly VHS tapes), and the bed mattresses were old and very uncomfortable. We may not return to this particular rental, but well certainly be back with Village Realty at the Currituck Club next year.
