Kick back and Chillax at this gorgeous soundside vacation home situated in the Osprey Ridge community of Duck. The proximity to downtown makes Chillax the premier choice for vacationers who want to walk or bike to shopping, dining and attractions. After a day at the beach or exploring town, come home and take a refreshing dip in the pool or a relaxing soak in the hot tub. Inside, an open-concept layout in the top-level great room encourages quality time spent together with family and friends. Vaulted ceilings and windows galore create a bright and airy space with abundant natural light. The living area opens up onto a wrap-around sun deck with a horizon view of the sound. It's the perfect place to relax with a cocktail and watch the spectacular sunsets. When you're not dining out at one of Duck's fabulous restaurants, prepare meals at home in the well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The primary bedroom is conveniently located just off the great room and includes a private bath with double vanity and walk-in shower. A second master suite is located on the mid-level, along with two guest bedrooms that share a hall bathroom. Downstairs, you'll find two more bedrooms and a fourth full bath. There's also a rec room that can serve as an additional hang-out space, with direct access to the pool area. Use the wet bar for convenient poolside drinks and snacks without having to go upstairs.

No need to worry about traffic or finding parking around town, since you'll also be just a short walk away from the very best Duck has to offer. Attend yoga classes, concerts, and annual events hosted at the Town of Duck amphitheater. There's also a public park complete with a soundside boardwalk that takes you on a delightful stroll along the water to an eclectic mix of dining and boutique shopping.

"The ONLY downside to CHILLAX is the location on the Sound side of the road, and there is no crosswalk. Being on a curve, it was sometimes dangerous to cross RT 12. But the house was clean, tidy, and really nice to stay in. We rented bikes - so this was a convenient location (not withstanding the fact we had to cross 12 to get to a sidewalk). We could even walk to town to have dinner or shop. Very nice accommodations. When we had questions, the VR Team was quick to respond and help (fire alarm had a failed battery that needed replacing -- late at night)."

"We had a great stay at Chillax. The backyard/pool area is outstanding. The artificial turf area that was added is perfect for cornhole (set provided) and other games. My only suggestion would be a patio table and chairs. (nice gas grill provided by pool). Great pool and hot tub. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you need...it was great having crockpot, large serving bowls, trays, etc. The house fit our group perfectly. Inside suggestion would be more hooks to hang damp towels throughout. The house is located on the soundside so please educate yourself on beach access. Our first day we drove to the access across the street, unloaded (our kids road the bikes) and my son drove the car back to the house and biked back...someone followed my son to our house then called and reported us for using their walkway to access the beach. We met some wonderful people on the beach that day that gave us permission to access the beach as their guests and another family offering their beach access. We looked back in our correspondence with Village and did not find anything regarding beach access. Village Realty also needs to do a better job letting renters know where to access the beach. The house is approximately .70 of a mile from "Town" (the start of restaurants and shops in Duck)."
