DE21N: Satisfaction

We really enjoyed our week here. The house has everything you can ask for to enjoy a week at the beach. Our one issue during the week was that the pool heater did not work consistently, leaving us with a cold and unusable pool at times during the cool week. However, Village Realty was fantastic and very promptly sent someone to take care of the problem each time. And the pool does heat quickly when the heater is running. The other minor issue is that the ice maker on the main fridge does not work, but there is an ice maker on the bottom floor, so we would just bring bowls of ice up from there. Our dog also loved the stay here and we loved that we could just let him outside on the decks and in the pool area to hang out with us without worry since everything is fenced in. We were hoping there would be a patch of grass somewhere to take him for bathroom breaks, but there is not. We always just took him to the beach since it is right there. The only time this was an issue was the last time out at night when the beach is very dark. This trip it was only our family of four (plus dog) and our parents, but we would love to return sometime with our siblings and their kids. The house would be perfect for all of us. We would definitely stay here again and would definitely rent through Village Realty again.

We just got back from spending 2 glorious weeks at the magnificent vacation property! From the beautiful views, to the well kept home, it was more than we expected! The only thing to improve was clearer directions for things like the TV, Movie room, and Jacuzzi tub. While we did figure it out, some of the directions were not helpful. The water pressure in the kitchen sink is not so great....but not a showstopper. Would definitely recommend to our friends and plan on coming back in the future!

This was our first trip to OBX. We had a wonderful week. This house has everything you could need. Great location and the beach and pool couldn't be beat. We had a few maintenance issues and they were addressed swiftly. We paid for the early access and got in at 1 with full access to the home. We had babies, teens and a ninety year old grandfather and all were happy. A couple things could be improved: the deck is rickety and dangerous in spots, the dryers are all inefficient and a couple of the downstairs fridges/freezers do not work well. We would stay again!

We always love our family vacations in OBX and this year provided even more thansatisfaction in this home. Wed stayed next door in the past and love the design of the house and location. We happened to meet the owner on arrival and she was incredibly accommodating, which got the week off to a great start.

The house was the perfect choice for our growing family. The pool and outside area was lovely. The baby pool was great!! The house was clean and fully equipped. The only negatives were the ice maker on top floor wasn't working, the dryer on bottom floor is very slow, the router is slow, many of the window shades were broken, some decking needs repairs and there were many nails on front porch that need to be nailed down--I ripped my dress on one. But overall we enjoyed our stay. We had hoped to book an earlier stay next year but the house isn't available. We would love to return.

My family and I stayed Satisfaction in May of 2019 and we had a great time. The house had everything we needed for all ages. The heated pool and hot tub were great as the ocean water was not too warm in mid-May. The house had plenty of space for all our family and friends, with a large kitchen and dining room, and with each bedroom having its own attached full bathroom. We made a couple calls for maintenance issues and technicians were sent out right away to correct the problems. The decks could be resealed, the clothes dryers took longer than normal to dry and the pool light was not working, but these were minor issues for our group. We would definitely recommend renting with Village Realty as well as DE21N - Satisfaction in Nags Head.

We stayed at DE21N. Each day we stayed , I filled out a maintenance report for various items . One ( non-working outdoor and indoor speakers was repeated , but never fully addressed).This House was e repeat for our group . It was a number of years ago , but time has not been kind to this house . Outdoor decks , and furniture need a total redo. The interior has a need for a total clean up , I.e. pop corn under furniture, dirty pots and pans , toilet and sink updates. Right Height toilets would be nice . We have put in to rent this house again next year , with hopes that some of these request will happen.

We had a great time, The house was beautiful it was clean. The structure itself is very well-built they spared no expense. Ive stayed in several other houses and none were built as well as this one. Any interaction I had with the people at the rental agency was top-notch they are friendly and take care business. Great people to rent from.

We stayed at 'satisfaction' Oct 2017 for our annual family reunion. Babies to grandparents. The house is a lovely large home and the layout is very easy and accommodating. The kitchen area was especially nice and easy to entertain a large group. However......there were many maintenance/repair issues with this house. It is in dire need of some TLC. Deck in disrepair, deck furniture even worse. Maintenance came and could not replace while we were there, so some was simply removed. Lower level slider does not lock. Upper level double doors don't both open. Numerous window shades broken or non functional. The cabana around the pool which is a great idea is in total disrepair. Pool decking is stained and needs help. The list goes on. Did we enjoy our week? YES!! But It could be so GREAT with some basic TLC which a renter expects with a home of this size and location.

Beautiful home. We like to entertain during our beach week and the kitchen actually had everything to accommodate us while cooking for a crowd. The panoramic ocean views from the dining table made each meal even better. Between that and the wide beach and family-friendly pool area, we had the most relaxing trip we've ever had!

We loved staying here! The location is ideal; oceanfront and within walking distance to the grocery and everything we needed throughout the week. The private beach was the perfect spot to keep an eye on the younger kids - when they weren't loving the baby pool! Will come back next year!

My extended family stayed in this home and had a great week. The home has an elevator - which was necessary for my grandfather, but also super useful when bringing in luggage and groceries. Everyone's favorite place to lounge was down in the kiddie pool or out on the private beach. It was nice to not have to fight for a spot on the sand or in the parking lots every morning.

we had a great time and enjoyed out stay. I can't imagine how many hi ones you manage and I am sure it is difficult. we had service people out on Sunday and they never returned. landscaping should be added to the todo list. if you are going to allow dogs at houses, they need a place to go other than the decks. we found leftovers from the previous renters. the a-team pool and spa guys were great and fixed what they said they would, thanks for that. the property needs some tlc and cleaning up.
