BB109: Bermuda Bay 109

It’s a very nice place, in a good neighborhood, with the coolest pool area, clean, convenient location, and well stocked. Everything was absolutely fantastic, except… the mattresses were extremely firm. Just not our personal preference. The kitchen level pullout was the most comfortable bed in the house. Everything else was great. We will stay here again if we get the chance!

The carpet is very dirty and needs to be cleaned or changed. The living room furniture is old and worn and very uncomfortable to sit on. The beds sink in the middle. Nice enough location but this place needs updating and good cleaning.

Nice location and easy to travel to and from the beach. Very clean home, however all of the beds (sleeper sofas included) were uncomfortable. Mattresses were lumpy and difficult to adjust to. Pillows were very flat as well. The loft is spacious and a great place for the teens to sleep however it really needs a fan to be running. It is significantly hotter than the 2nd floor. AC and all appliances worked great. If you use the oven, though, bring an oven mitt. I never located one. The Clubhouse is nice but this rental did not include a code to use it unless you went during the pool hours of 9 am-9 pm. Gym is well equipped and up to date. I would probably not stay here again just because of the beds.

I really enjoy my stay here it was very clean and well maintained. The only thing I would complain about is the beds were very hard and firm and the pools were not open I was sad about that because I wanted to take my 4 year old son and my step kids there . Other then that it was an amazing stay

Good:

Friday-Friday rental week is much less crowded than standard Saturday arrival.

Military discount was much appreciated!

Furniture was comfortable.

Good area if you bring your dog.

Convenient location between MP 8 and 8.5.

Garage was convenient.

Bad:

One of the "master" bedrooms only had a bed and nightstand, despite photo showing an armoire and TV. Misleading; if advertised as being furnished a certain way, it should have that furniture or equivalent or improved replacements. No place to store clothes that don't get hung in closet.

Advertised as having fitness center, but you must have PIN (given only to owners and long-term renters) to get in, unless pool is open.

Loft was too hot to use except in morning (a/c did not reach that level).

it was a wonderful experience staying in kill devils island everyone was friendly and the home where we stayed was in excellent condition we loved the experience and would highly recommend it thanks.
