The Baited Hook is a one of a kind, uniquely designed by this original owner's son and built by Archibald Moorse. You will enjoy the best of both worlds with great ocean and sound views from this well maintained house. The cathedral and vaulted ceilings on the top floor make the living room feel expansive. The kitchen bar allows for several to join in without getting in the chef's way, and the big dining area can host a crowd.
A master suite is located on the top level also, plus another master suite is on the middle level. The twin bedroom utilizes a hall bath that may be shared with the queen bed/bunk room that also includes it's own half bath. All of the rooms feel extra large and spacious and there is generous natural light throughout the house. Two decks angled to face the ocean are sheltered from those Outer Banks winds, and a small deck on the other side of the living room is the perfect spot to catch colorful sunsets over the Pamlico Sound.
The lower level includes a dry entry, utility sink, and two locked storage areas for your beach toys. The home has more closet space than most throughout the house and there is nice laundry room on the middle level. The concrete two-sided carport under the house accommodates 4 cars and is another great spot to gather around the picnic table for a crab boil, or just hang out to clean fish, use the outdoor shower, or detached storage area. The Baited Hook faces Cape Hatteras Pier Drive (road to the old Frisco Pier) as a main entrance but the driveway pulls through to Marlin Drive on the other side which will make it super easy to navigate when you trailer your boat to your new vacation home.
The beach is just steps away, which you will surely appreciate at the Baited Hook.
