A resident of Kill Devil Hills and a licensed North Carolina Realtor, Ed has always been drawn to the Outer Banks. Originally from Dry Tavern in southwestern Pennsylvania, Ed grew up on a farm. If you cannot place the town, Dry Tavern is not far from Pit Gas. The region was populated with farms and coal mines. With a degree in mining engineering, Ed retired from CONSOL Energy.
For most of their yearly vacations, Ed, his wife Jana, and their two children frequented the Outer Banks. Moving here in 2019, Ed said that once he was on the islands, he didn't need a road map any longer since he already knew his way around.
As a real estate agent in Ohio since 2016, Ed has had experience on the listing and purchase sides of transactions. He learned how to successfully manage difficult situations with the property, the timeline, and owner relationships. He listens to you, learns your needs and wants, communicates well, is available to you and is someone that you can depend on.
Whether it's the numbers, the location, or the property, Ed has your back. With his degree in engineering along with his employment in the construction industry here at the Outer Banks, Ed can provide you with knowledgeable insight into a property's condition and value.
Ed works closely with his wife, Jana, who is also a North Carolina real estate agent. As a team, they work very well together, providing their clients a two-for-one benefit by combining their personal strengths. (As validation of their partnership, they have been married for 46 years.)
In his free time, Ed enjoys the beach, local history and places, art, and computers. He loves boating and is Past Commander of the America’s Boating Club, Columbus, Ohio. He is a watercolor artist, juried into the Central Ohio Watercolor Society.
